明清兩軍交戰，傅正帶帶清軍殺入明朝皇宮。明軍打敗，明軍大將請求傅正收養懷玉公。18年後懷玉長大與青青女扮男裝至城裡街道玩。在叫賣場與康熙皇帝爭買古董。康熙與大臣商量，平西王吳三桂駐藩多年，表面平靜實藏波濤。康熙決定指吳應熊為額附要他進京。懷玉等人到菜館吃飯，尚之信也至菜館卻與懷玉等人起衝突。
