대한민국의 요리사. 흔히 '방랑식객'이라는 별명이나, '산당'이라는 호로 더 유명한 사람이었다. 이른바 '자연요리'라 하여 자연에서 직접 식재료를 채취하는 것을 선호하며, 당연히 이를 위해 이리저리 방랑을 하는 일이 잦았다. 그도 그럴것이 일반적으로는 못먹는 그 어떤 것도 그의 손을 거치면 맛도 좋고 보기도 좋은 음식으로 탈바꿈한다고 했다. 거기다가 대단히 즉흥적인 성격으로 본인 말로는 그가 개발한 요리들도 즉석에서 떠오르는 대로 만드는 식이라고. 2021년 6월 12일 갑작스러운 심장마비로 사망했다. 향년 65세
