For the past 20 years, the CBS Television Network has broadcast an annual holiday special to raise awareness of the more than 100,000 children waiting to be adopted from the U.S. foster care system. The CBS special “A Home for the Holidays“ includes performances by some of America’s most popular musicians and features inspirational stories of families who have adopted children or teens from foster care. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption has been a proud partner in the production since 1999, along with Children’s Action Network, Goldsmith Entertainment, and Triage Productions. The 20th annual “A Home for the Holidays” special will air on Friday, December 20 at 8/7c.
