Going against everyone’s advice, Janine takes it upon herself to fix every problem when she notices a flicking light bulb in the hallway. Despite the best intentions, Janine ends up causing new issues throughout the school. Elsewhere, Gregory asks Barbara for help talking to a parent, which leads him to spend his lunch period in an unexpected way.
Entgegen aller Ratschläge nimmt Janine (Quinta Brunson) es auf sich, jedes Problem selbst zu beheben, als sie im Flur eine flackernde Glühbirne bemerkt. Trotz der besten Absichten verursacht Janine in der ganzen Schule neue Probleme.
An anderer Stelle bittet Gregory (Tyler James Williams) Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph) um Hilfe beim Gespräch mit einem Elternteil, was dazu führt, dass er seine Mittagspause auf unerwartete Weise verbringt.
