Set in one of the harshest environments in Alaska, master welder Dennis Butts and his crew have one of the most dangerous welding jobs anywhere. The series follows the emergency response welders of Quality Marine of Alaska who work around the clock to prepare Kodiak’s fleet for a new fishing season. A giant storm looms on the horizon and underwater welder Duke must brave the icy waters. "Will he be able to make the repair before his air runs out?" Later, the team is called to save the day when a local cannery unexpectedly shuts down. But the problem turns out to be worse than expected.
