Season 2

  • S02E01 Custom Airguns

    The season 2 premiere begins anew with Paul Cray discussing the very basics of field target competition. Eric Henderson hunts white tail deer in Missouri with the Sam Yang 909 pre-charged pneumatic rifle. Paul Capello shows us some custom stocks, parts and grips that add performance and good looks to your rifles and pistols. Paul and Crystal go head-to-head in an indoor silhouette shooting competition.

  • S02E02 Viva Las Vegas

    Paul and Crystal head to Las Vegas for the 2010 Shot Show. There they check out the new guns from Umarex, Evanix and more. Paul Cray shows how to mount a scope on an Air Arms EV2, a high-end field target rifle. Eric Henderson joins Bill Dempsey and his brother John for a squirrel hunt in South Western Arkansas. Crystal discusses shooting Co2 action pistols indoors. Paul and Crystal set up an indoor shooting range for an indoor full-auto BB repeater competition.

  • S02E03 Springtime Airguns

    Paul & Crystal shoot magnum powered spring rifles. Paul Cray on cleaning optical glass. Paul shares big bore airguns with black powder rifle shooters at the Phoenicia, NY Fish & Game Association. Spring airgun shooting tips. Crystal reviews the Air Venturi Bronco.

    Paul and Crystal test out the Sam Yang Big Bore 909 and Evanix Renegade rifles. Crystal introduces a new shooter to the world of airguns. Paul builds a "silent pellet trap" you can make at home. Eric Henderson guides an enthusiast on his first airgun hunt for wild boar in Texas. Crystal gets some safe airgun handling tips from an NRA certified expert. Crystal sets up some challenging homemade targets.

    Paul and Crystal shoot and discuss stealthy airguns such as the AirForce Talon SS and the Benjamin Trail NPXL. Paul takes a look at the AirForce Edge, a state of the art three position air rifle. The crew travels to Staten Island New York to visit the Venturing Marksmanship Crew 2700. Paul Cray teaches Crystal the basics of Field Target shooting. Break Barrel and Side-lever airgun safety. Crystal shows you how to properly clean an airgun barrel. Eric Henderson hunts wild boar.

    Paul and Crystal discuss airguns that shoot with CO2 and high pressure air power plants. Paul Cray helps Crystal set up the scope on her Air Arms TX200 for Field Target. CO2 Vs. High Pressure Air ballistic testing.

  • S03E01 Christmas in June

    We begin the third season with the lost Christmas episode from season 2 of American Airgunner. Crystal checks out the Beeman P1 pistol. Paul discusses and tests non-lead pellets and tunes up and modifies a Crosman 2240. Crystal tries to beat the clock in a hunting simulation game.

  • S04E01 Hogtied

    In our first episode of 2012 Paul and our film crew travel to Oklahoma to hunt wild boar with a .50 caliber Dragon Claw. After a successful hunt at Riverview Ranch, aided by professional team roper, Clay Hurst, and his dogs, we'll introduce you to the first ever American Airgunner Challenge in which eight contestants will shoot it out with a Walther Dominator PCP Air Rifle and a Magnum Research Desert Eagle Air Pistol..

  • S04E02 Blast Off

    Show host and creator, Paul Capello, takes us to the SHOT Show where he talks with Air Venturi's Gun Tech about big bore airguns, then shows us the effects of hot and cold on CO2 action pistols in the UmarexUSA.com testing range. In the Airgunner Challenge, Steve and Carie face-off in a race to launch a rocket using a CO2 powered Hammerli 850 AirMagnum pellet rifle.

    Just about everyone likes to blow stuff up. American Airgunner host, Capello, ignites some exploding targets, then shows how to site in a scope on a Ruger break barrel air rifle. In the Airgunner Challenge, the remaining seven shoot against the clock for a bang of their own to avoid the elimination round in episode four.

  • S04E04 Snakes On A Plane

    American Airgunner goes to Florida in a hunt for an elongated pest, the python. We take along a Hammerli Pneuma air rifle in this quest through the swamps. In the Airgunner Challenge, it's an elimination round in a race to the end of a track—the tables are leveled as Steve and Donnie face off with a CO2 powered BB carbine, the HK MP5K-PDW.

  • S04E05 Showdown

    • July 25, 2012

    Show host, Paul Capello, shows us what goes on at the annual NRA Show in St. Louis, MO and takes some shots on the indoor airgun range hosted by Pyramyd Air. We get another American Airgunner viewer video and then Paul watches as contestants use an Elite Force airsoft rifle in a challenge that involves a bit of a trick shot. It could be anyone's game in this challenge. Next week, it's a shoot-off at the Airgunner Saloon with a Walther Lever Action pellet rifle.

  • S04E06 Wild West Shootout

    In this episode, Zac and Rob belly up to the Airgunner Saloon, then we take you to Alabama for a look at the NRA Airgun Jr. Nationals and follow that with some air rifle hunting tips from show host, Paul Capello. Lastly we have new viewer videos and three of our contestants have an opportunity to shoot their way back into the show with a single shot Browning Buck Mark pellet pistol.

  • S04E07 Airgun Extravaganza

    The American Airgunner airgun games continue in episode 7 as Zac and Steve have an opportunity to outshoot Carie and re-enter Airgunner Challenge, then we visit the Airgun Extravaganza airgun show that took place in Malvern, Arkansas before giving the contestants the difficult task of walking a target across a dirt pad with a Beretta pellet pistol.

    American Airgunner host, Paul Capello, and guest, Glenn Seiter, hunt for squirrel in the Ozarks with RWS Model 34 springers, then they join a show friend, Casie, to try a different squirrel recipe. Later in the episode, Zac and Nathan face-off in an elimination round with the Morph 3X from Umarex, an airgun that you can change from rifle--to carbine--to pistol.

  • S04E09 Hydrotechnology

    In this episode of American Airgunner, a gunsmith cautions us against using petroleum based oils in our spring rifles, then we see how a polymer Walther air pistol gets a hydrographic camo treatment. We get an overview of pre-charged pneumatic guns and the remaining Airgunner Challenge contestants shoot a Ruger Air Hawk at pressurized cans in an effort to avoid the next elimination round. Some great slow motion clips in this one.

  • S04E10 Zombies!

    Paul Capello's American Airgunner has its sights on the "undead". In this episode, we see what one company has to offer in terms of Zombie targets, then Josh Ungier shares with us his collection of airguns, Paul shows us how he performs 1000-round maintenance on airguns and then Duke and Rob enter into an elimination challenge with an objective of hitting as many Zombies as they can with a Beretta pellet gun, a replica of the Cx4 Storm.

    In this episode, we're in California and meet up with Chuck Harrison, thanks to Western Outdoor News, in pursuit of wild turkeys. Then we get a little education on different pellet sizes before watching the remaining four Airgunner Challenge contestants compete in our bracketed ball drop challenge with a Smith & Wesson pellet revolver.

  • S04E12 A Pyramyd of Pellets

    In an earlier episode of 2012, we saw some of the unique airguns in the collection at Pyramyd Air, in this episode we get an in-depth look at the company and learn about its humble beginnings. Then it's off to the Airgunner Challenge where two of our contestants use a Browning 800 Express, a break barrel pellet pistol, for a shot at playing in the final round. This time it's alternating panes of glass.

  • S04E13 And The Winner Is

    It's the final round of the Airgunner Challenge. Nikki and Donnie have three stages to complete. First pellet pistol, then BB gun, finally PCP rifle. Somewhere in the midst of the competition we'll step back in time to take a look at one of Paul's reviews and we'll see which viewer video our producer's thought encompassed everything from passion for airguns to unique content to filming and editing skills.

From the Walther Dominator at the beginning of the Airgunner Challenge to the Beretta Px4 and Umarex Steel Strom at the end and from wild boar with an airgun to the small target of a California turkey with a pellet rifle in episode 11. And a few other topics in between.

  • S05E01 PCPs and Horned Frogs

    American Airgunner is information packed with new hosts, Rossi Morreale and Steve Criner. Rossi talks Pre-charged pneumatic air rifles with industry experts Tom Gaylord, Jim Chapman and Rick Eutsler at the Round Table and visits the women's collegiate air rifle team at TCU. Later in the episode you'll get a pellet rifle hunting tip from Steve Criner and meet our six Airgunner Challenge contestants (Amanda, Sarge, Mr. Loco, Bob, Sparky, and Jason) that will be shooting throughout the season for a $5000 prize from Umarex USA.

    In this Airgun episode, Steve Criner, who in this episode is deemed the "Squirrel Soldier", is in Missouri with a RWS under lever pellet rifle.   • S05E04 The Hog Soldier - Boom Goes the Dynamite!

    Steve Criner and a posse of hog wranglers venture on a wild boar hunt in Southern Arkansas in this 4th episode of 2013, then Rossi Morreale, show host, gets the 4-1-1 on the new Ruger Yukon from Rick Eutsler of Airgun Web. In the Airgunner Challenge the five remaining contestants shoot .25 caliber pellets, at an exploding target, out of an airgun called a Sumatra provided by Pyramyd Air.

Our competitors will be using three different airguns to shoot a variety of targets.
