オーディションを突破し、ジュニアオケのメンバーとなった青野たち。しかし、合格者の多くは音大付属高校の生徒だった。仮の座席順でコンサートマスターの席に座ったのは昴雪人。青野は、その実力に圧倒される。そして、世界的な指揮者・巌虎玄六による厳しい指導が始まった。理想の音を追求する巌虎の威圧的な言葉は、生徒たちを涙させる。指導の方向性は的確だが、やり方が気に入らない。佐伯は、巌虎に正面から不満をぶつける。
Aono and his friends pass the audition and become members of the junior orchestra. However, many of the successful applicants are students from high schools attached to music colleges.
