    Family matriarch Mandy struggles to keep her son, Bugsy, in check while offering support to current lodger and working girl Andrea. Loyal Noonan associate Cody the doorman talks of the demons that brought him from the frontline in Bosnia as a British soldier to the world of drugs and violence. Jamie the actor continues his journey from the underworld and the Noonans into films and acting where he is typecast in the role of the criminal.

    The pressures of growing up in a crime family may prove too much for young Bugsy and set him on a path to prison like his father Domenyk and most of his family. Gangsters past and present try to keep the crime lord’s son from following in his father’s footsteps. A brief spell in the countryside is organized to try and protect him from the inevitable lure of criminal life. And ex-army officers put Bugsy and a friend through their paces on day’s boot camp as a character building exercise. The omens are not good for the future of the gangster’s son. Meanwhile Domenyk, the so called Gay Gangster, is accused of the rape of a woman. Domenyk was raped himself when he was young and he protests vehemently at the charges, but will the police listen?

    Crime godfather Domenyk Noonan has a unique answer to the extensive police surveillance – he turns his own secret cameras on them. Meanwhile, over Christmas, he dresses up as Santa and brings some welcome cheer to his estate. Still under the most restrictive parole conditions of any non-terrorist prisoner, Noonan, tries to get a job. Naturally, high value jewellers are the first port of call for the former bank robber with predictable results. Back at the family home, Andrea prepares for a nights business in Manchester’s brothels and Jamie the actor, one of Domenyk’s drivers, considers a career playing a gangster in the movies. Domenyk’s other associate, Cody the doorman, recalls his old days as a heroin dealer and talks about life as soldier in Bosnia. It’s never dull At Home with the Noonan’s.

    With the country teetering on the edge of anarchy, the riots threaten to spread to Manchester, home of the Noonan crime family. Not for the first time, they are central to the story and make the national headlines after a close relative, Mark Duggan, is shot dead in London by a police marksman, which sparks the disorder of August 2011. Politicians and police all but accuse Domenyk Noonan as the orchestrator of the Manchester riots - but would the Police get their man or would “Dapper Dom” have the last laugh at the expense of the powers that be? Could the gangster’s youngest son, Bugsy resist the temptation to riot while so many of his friends take advantage of the disorder and will Mandy his mother get comfort from a family tattoo?   • S01E05 Gangsta's Paradise

    As young Bugsy, the crime boss’s 17-year-old son, enjoys his freedom protests are arranged to highlight Domenyk’s imprisonment after the Manchester street riots. Officially known as Domenyk Lattlay Fottfoy the first, an acronym for Look After Those That Look After You and F*** Off Those that F*** Off You after changing his name in the courts, Domenyk is fighting his recall to prison after he was arrested at the scene of the Manchester riots. Though all charges were dropped he is kept inside because he is considered a danger to the public. An attempt to highjack the opening of the new police headquarters in protest with a show of family strength fails, when the protest party turns up too early. Cody, the doorman, rages at the mistake along with the poor turnout and decides to change him name by deed poll to the same exotic construction as Domenyk. Cody will now be known as Domenyk Lattlay Fottfoy the second. The crime clan are fighting on all fronts it seems, as associate, Lloyd the cage fighter, goes into the ring with the family honour at stake.

  • S01E06 Tough Love

    While Domenyk Noonan remains in prison his foot soldiers are going their separate ways. Confusion abounds around the Noonans, as Steve the taxi driver tries to discover why he trashed his own flat. Jamie the actor prepares to leave the Noonan circle of trust as he takes acting jobs in London. Loyal Domenyk disciple Cody contemplates his career options after appearing on Newsnight as a voice of the rioters. Meanwhile Bugsy, the gang boss’s beloved son, teeters on the brink of a return to jail. All the while, Domenyk, harbours hopes of an early release.
