    • May 1, 2022

Including a project to create more farm land, which, at the time seemed like a good idea however years later, it seems the land is sinking away and we've lost quite a few metres of it! We'll be looking at several 'Motoring Oddities' from the smallest, to the largest, to the longest and the highest. It's ultimately pointless but that's half the fun.

However, there is a problem... access to the island can only be made at certain times of day for you see, the only road you can use will be submerged under several metres of sea water at high tides. Many people have attempted last minute crossings and almost always have come to regret that decision. In this episode we look at the Lindisfarne Causeway, a road that twice a day is submerged under the sea. Join me in the series you didn't know you needed. We'll be looking at several 'Motoring Oddities' from the smallest, to the largest, to the longest and the highest. It's ultimately pointless but that's half the fun.

  • S2022E54 Secrets of The Motorway - M67

    • March 12, 2023

The M67 isn't very long at only 5 miles but at one stage it was destined to be one of the most complex motorways on our network. In the 60s they wanted to create a trans-pennine motorway and the M67 was the ideal candidate allowing for a connection between Manchester and Sheffield. If you're familiar with the M67 motorway, you'd know that they fell short somewhat of achieving this goal. Was that a good thing or not? What the M67 does offer, is a small tightly packed urban motorway that divides towns down the middle, there's a hint of what could have been still lingering but for the most part the M67 goes about it's business with minimal fuss.

  • S2022E55 Secrets of The Motorway - M65

    • March 19, 2023

Welcome along to another weekly instalment of motorway madness. I'm back oop Norf in Preston to look at the M65 motorway... what wonderous delights await... Confusing junctions, cancelled projects, bridges, protests... it's the usual thing really for UK motorways. The M65 comes to an end in Colne.. I'd not heard of it either. But did you know there were talks of building a trans penine motorway much like the M62... yeah well.. You can probably guess what happened to that but I shall at least explain what was supposed to happen. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E56 Secrets of The Motorway - M1 Part 2

    • March 26, 2023

Curve ball... We're back on the M1 this week, that was unexpected. But I need the views so we'll be milking the M1 motorway for everything it's got. Also, I missed out a massive chunk the first time around and it's annoyed me (and some viewers) ever since. So I'm revisiting the M1 which was the first episode of Secret of the Motorway to pick up more or less where we left off... North of Sheffield. There's lots to see such as some 18th century ruins and the tallest structure in the UK. Of course with a garnish of failed motorways and cancelled projects. The usual. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E57 Secrets of The Motorway - M60

    • April 2, 2023

At last.. it's time to tackle Manchesters orbital motorway... the M60. It's a story of many bodge jobs and cancelled projects.. nothing new then. In this episode we'll be taking in abandoned railway stations, shopping centres and nuclear bunkers. All of this and more from the famous M60 motorway. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E58 Secrets of The Motorway - M60 Part 2

    • April 9, 2023

Round two for Manchesters M60 motorway and there's still plenty to be exploring. I'll be starting at Junction 18 or Simister Island... the interchange that makes little sense when it comes to the M60, after that it's clockwise around the M60 to junction 27 where we find the finish line for the M60 at the Stockport Viaduct. In this episode we've some right dodgy junctions to discuss... there's a reservoir and viaduct and all the usual motorway nonsense we've come to expect. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E59 Secrets of The Motorway - M602

    • April 16, 2023

Back in Manchester... again. I don't seem to be able to escape. In this episode we're exploring the M602 motorway, which you've probably not heard of and I wouldn't blame you given it's so short. In fact, this might be the shortest episode to date. The M602 came about as the result of a cancelled motorway plan. In this instance, it was more a case of the M602 being a left over from larger projects and we had to do something with it so... the M602 then. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E60 Secrets of The Motorway - M56

    • April 23, 2023

The M56 is Cheshire's main motorway. It links Chester with Manchester stopping at some large and important industries along the way. The M56 certainly wins the award for more bizarre junctions with several featuring unique design layouts that boggle the mind. Take junctions 1 to 3... they're all on a separate spur road and the M56 main carriageway starts at junction 3a. Confused? Yes it makes little sense but hopefully this weeks episode explains all. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E61 Secrets of The Motorway - M53

    • April 30, 2023

The M53 is an interesting one... It's a game of two halves with the first being over engineered junctions and large open spaces, with the second being the complete opposite. I'll explain all in the video. There's lots for us to be getting on with this week... grade 2 listed water towers, RAF bases, Vauxhall... and of course the usual stories of motorway projects that didn't quite go to plan. Have you heard of the M531 motorway... No, I hadn't either but it turns out it used to be part of the M53. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E62 Secrets of The Motorway - M6 Part 1 - Catthorpe to Stafford

    • May 7, 2023

The largest of all the motorways in the land... the M6. I'll be upfront... we're not getting this over with in just one episode. We might be here for a while... but it's ok, we've plenty to see and do along the UKs longest motorway.

  • S2022E63 Secrets of the Motorway - M6 Part 2 - Stafford to Warrington

    • May 14, 2023

Carrying on with the longest motorway in the UK... the M6. We've covered junctions 1 - 13 in episode 1 which saw us go from Catthorpe to Stafford. This week, we pick things up in Stafford at a rather nice castle before heading north on the M6 motorway towards Warrington. As always there are several stops on the way and we take a look at a few things that maybe you didn't notice last time you drove the M6. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E64 Secrets of the Motorway - M74

    • May 21, 2023

The M74 is a motorway that runs to Glasgow in Scotland... No, I'd not heard of it either, apparently there's a whole other country attached to the North of England... who knew. In this weeks episode we'll be starting the process of working our way round the motorways across the mightily fine Scotland. There's much to discuss, such as neighbourhood gang warfare, old steelworks, viaducts and old junction designs. Thrilling. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E65 Secrets of The Motorway - M77

    • May 28, 2023

Back in Scotland this week to look at the M77 motorway that runs from Glasgow to Fenwick. In Scotland. There's abandoned roads, motorway junctions and volcanoes! In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E66 Secrets of The Motorway - M876

    • June 4, 2023

The M876... No, I hadn't heard of it either. It's a small yet fairly key link for the M80 and M9 motorways. There really isn't a lot to see but not to worry, there's plenty of juicy junction details for us to get stuck into. Also.. a pedestrian crossing on a motorway and two motorways that share each others space. Absolute madness. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E67 Secrets of The Motorway - M73

    • June 11, 2023

The M73 motorway is only 7 miles long with a handful of junctions. Despite this, it provides an important link for Glasgow between the M80, M74 and M8 motorways. Without it, it would all go wrong. It runs from Maryville to Mollinsburn and we'll be travelling the length of this motorway to see what we can discover. I can barely contain my excitement... steel box girder bridges, old collieries, abandoned quarries and some proper motorway discussion. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E68 Secrets of The Motorway - M898

    • June 18, 2023

The M898.... The highest number of all the motorways, yet the shortest motorway in the UK with an M designation. It's just about a mile long and has one junction that no longer serves the purpose it was intended for. There's also a massive bridge, and whilst technically not on the motorway, you can't really miss it, and without it, there's a good chance the M898 may not have been built. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E69 Secrets of The Motorway - M80

    • June 25, 2023

This week, we'll be heading away from Glasgow (The preferred direction) along the M80 motorway. After 25 miles or so, we'll arrive to the South of Stirling but of course, we've a lot of stops to make along the way. Abandoned roads... yes. Abandoned but also old bridges... yes. Railway stuff... yes. Stupid art installations... yes. Junction re-designs... yes... but wait... there's more... I can't recall what, but it's all there in the video. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E70 Secrets of the Motorway - A74M

    • July 2, 2023

The A74M motorway is the gateway to Scotland from England, without it, you'd have no other options. It's a wonderful motorway that takes you through some of Scotland's finest scenery but whilst the views are nice, the history and story of the A74M is a little more complicated, it's possible that it wasn't supposed to be the A74M at all. There's the usual selection of oddities, abandoned bridges, weird junctions and I'll explain why there's road signs for the M6.. on the A74M. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E71 Secrets of The Motorway - A823M

    • July 9, 2023

Surely no one knows about this motorway.. it's short and looks more like a set of sliproads than a motorway. But it turns out, it's a failed project, or should I say changed project. The A823M is a mere left over of a grander scheme but there's a slim chance this borderline not a motorway may one day be extended, but not by much. Despite all this, there's some interesting features to be found along it's 1.5 mile length and of course, I'll be pointing them all out. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E72 Secrets of The Motorway - A8M

    • July 16, 2023

This is the shortest motorway in the UK. Ignoring Ireland (for now). It's really short.. so short you'd wonder why it ever existed... luckily I have the answers. It's mostly down to formalities but it's an interesting story I promise. Other interesting things include balancing ponds, a bridge and even a stretch of abandoned road. Who knew the shortest motorway was hiding all of these secrets. Me. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E73 Secrets of The Motorway - M9

    • July 23, 2023

The thirty four mile M9 Motorway connects Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh to Stirling with a stop off at Falkirk along the way. It first opened in 1965 making it one of the older motorways in Scotland, but it would still be getting work done as late as 2023. In this thrilling episode, we've got art installations known as The Kelpies, Scotland history, old concrete buildings, canal wheels, dodgy junctions and plenty more such as the Grangemouth Oil Refinery. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E74 Secrets of The Motorway - M90

    • July 30, 2023

The M90 is bit of a peach. It's a motorway.. yes, but it has such wonderful features spanning a few decades, and in some cases, centuries. Today, we'll be exploring the M90 motorway which runs from the West of Edinburgh to Perth. This episode is full of amazing sights such as coal mines... and sliproads. There's also a rather famous bridge, and then another rather famous bridge. And another. No Forth though. See what I did there. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E75 Secrets of The Motorway - M8 Part 1

    • August 6, 2023

We've been in Scotland for a while now, but we've run out of motorways... except for the legendary M8 motorway, so here it is... A complete miss-match of ideas and plans, an awful, I mean wonderful inner city Motorway and all the stupid junctions you could ever wish for. Along it's route, there's a few surprises such as the line of pyramids.. the international race circuit, pointless art installations and did I mention all the stupid junctions you could ever wish for. Come along on this turbulent journey along the M8 motorway... did I mention the stupid junctions? In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E76 Secrets of The Motorway - M8 Part 2

    • August 13, 2023

Welcome back to the M8.. Scotland's infamous motorway. Some of you were worried I'd missed things out like the M8 Ski ramps or the White Cart Viaduct.. fear not for I have not. We'll be picking things up from where we left off last week and exploring some of the finer urban motorway delights around Glasgow. There's all the bad junctions and failed plans to look at and other stuff, like a brickworks. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E77 Secrets of The Motorway - M6 Part 3 - Warrington - Lancaster

    • August 20, 2023

Right, we've done Scotland, let's get back to the longest Motorway in England.. the M6. It's part 3 of this massive motorway and we'll be, as usual, looking at all kinds of awesome stuff, like roads that don't exist, service station restaurants and Heinz baked beans. We'll also cover the Preston bypass.. the UK's first motorway, this and so much more... what an episode! In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E78 Secrets of The Motorway - M6 Part 4 - Lancaster - Gretna

    • August 27, 2023

It's the final part of the massive M6, the longest motorway in the UK and we've got plenty to be getting on with.. some old bridges, the A601M, military sites, odd junctions. The usual thing you've come to expect in an episode of Secrets of the Motorway. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E79 Secrets of The Motorway - A329M

    • September 3, 2023

It's the start of the A(M) motorways, all of those small and seemingly pointless motorways that are randomly dotted around the country. We'll be exploring why they exist and what you can find along the way.. if anything at all.. these motorways are traditionally rather short and unexciting. That said.. the A329M in Berkshire, whilst short and unexciting, does at least have a very interesting story behind it, the biggest what if, the M31 motorway. You wont have heard of it, but watch on.. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E80 Secrets of The Motorway - A404M

    • September 10, 2023

Snuggled in along side Maidenhead in Berkshire is the 2 mile A404M motorway. In itself, a fairly unremarkable motorway with little to shout about, however, this motorway is more about the what ifs. What if it was built as per the original plan... would it be longer? More junctions? Maybe a completely different motorway all together. In this episode we'll be answering that question and loads (not loads) more. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E81 Secrets of The Motorway - A48M

    • September 17, 2023

This week I'm in Wales! Who knew there was a motorway other than the M4 in Wales!? It's only a couple of miles long but I wouldn't be doing my job if we didn't take a look at the A48M. Despite it's short length, it's got an interesting story as to how it came about and it also hides one or two hidden or abandoned sliproads and carriageways, which in one case, poses more questions than it does answers. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E82 Secrets of The Motorway - A308M

    • September 24, 2023

Back in Berkshire and we're visiting the shortest motorway in England. Possibly. There may be some debate on that but we're going to say yes, it's the shortest motorway in England. Aside from that... not a lot happens, sorry to spoil the fun before it's started, sometimes that's just the way it is and perhaps this video is more of a requirement due to wanting to make a video about every motorway. Anyway, here it is, the A308M, the shortest motorway.. enjoy.

  • S2022E83 Secrets of the Motorway - A38M

    • October 1, 2023

Urban inner city motorway built in the 1960s.. yeh ok, I'm in. The A38M... a small yet significant motorway pretty much in the middle of Birmingham. Therefore it promises interesting features and indeed the A38M is quite unique in that is offers something you wont find on any other motorway.. You'll have to watch the video to find out of course. There's also some serious discussion about condiments, missing sliproads and a steam engine. Which sounds much more like a typical Secrets of the Motorway episode. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E84 Secrets of The Motorway - A627M

    • October 8, 2023

Hello up North... it's been a while. I'm returning to Greater Manchester to look at a short and perhaps fairly unknown motorway, the A627M. It connects Rochdale and Oldham, former mining and cotton towns.. because North of England. At first, there's not a lot to see with the uneventful motorway doing it's thing for a couple of miles but right in the middle there is, what appears to me, to be a bit of error of judgement, see if you can spot it. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E85 Secrets of The Motorway - A57M

    • October 15, 2023

Today we address Manchester's inner city or urban motorway, the A57M. It's probably best avoided, and to be honest with all the (bloody) trams who needs to drive anyway. It's a delight of 60s design which becomes very apparent in this video as we explore dodgy slip roads and missing carriageways. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E86 Secrets of The Motorway - A3M

    • October 22, 2023

In this episode I visit Hampshire where we find the A3M. It would have offered a fantastic motorway connection between the M27 and M3... say whaaaat!? The M3? Yes... It was nearly the M3 and the existing M3, nearly wasn't. It's very much a story of what if but as we've come to expect in the series, plans were changed and cancelled at the last minute. Imagine our surprise... In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E87 Secrets of The Motorway - M181

    • October 29, 2023

It's s surprise M Motorway... I've had a realisation that I'll explain in the video. As a result, we're looking at the M181 motorway... it's already been shortened, will it be shortened some more, will it even exist in the future... I answer none of the questions but there is a nice bridge. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E88 Secrets of The Motorway - A1077M

    • November 5, 2023

The A1077M... in North Lincolnshire, it looks an awful lot like the M181, something is amiss... This motorway was built years ago, but didn't exist until 2021 which makes for quite a bizarre story. And, enjoy it whilst you can as it might be that in the near future, the A1077M disappears as quickly as it arrived. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E89 Secrets of The Motorway - M275

    • November 12, 2023

Portsmouth... here we come! The M275 is a short motorway that unless you live in the area, you've likely never used. A shame because despite it's short length, it's jam packed with interesting features and things to look at. During sunset it's a lovely drive. There's some nice big interchange things going on, a predictably stupid motorway bus lane and a rather silly slip road design complete with traffic lights. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E90 Secrets of The Motorway - M271

    • November 19, 2023

It's raining... sorry about that but we'll crack on anyway and in this episode we're off to Southampton to look at the M271 motorway. It's short... and not that sweet, it's poses a few issues in terms of junction design and layout. I think it could have been a bit better... Still, there's plenty to look at along it's few miles of length. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E91 Secrets of The Motorway - A58M

    • November 26, 2023

The A58M is a wonderful yet tightly packed urban motorway running through Leeds. It's not very long and for the most part it runs through a tunnel... none the less, we've a few points of interest to cover including some questionable road design. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E92 Secrets of The Motorway - A64M

    • December 3, 2023

We're still in Leeds and this week we look at the A64M... another gem of an urban, inner city motorway. It's very similar to the A58M with it's oddly designed sliproads and junctions and in fact there's little reason from what I can see as to why these two motorways have separate numbers. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E93 Secrets of The Motorway - A66M

    • December 10, 2023

The A66M motorway is short... and featureless. Frankly it's amazing that we managed to make a video out of it. That said, in this episode we'll be looking at bridges... old ones and newer ones perhaps with a unique story. There's no odd junction designs but there is a roundabout as well as a lake and I take a look at an abandoned farm. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

  • S2022E94 Secrets of The Motorway - A167M

    • December 17, 2023

This week we're in Newcastle taking a look at the inner city, urban, A167M... The short motorway that has it all. Abandoned sliproads, ghost sliproads, cancelled plans, dangerous junctions all within a little over a mile. How exciting! Not only that, it's all squeezed into an impossibly small space, you'd barely notice the motorway... sort of. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

It's the last of the A(M) motorways! I can't believe they're all done. Anyway... the A194M... a treat found near Washington. It's quite short, features some basic junctions and I suppose is a bit of a left over from a larger project that, as always, got cancelled. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.

It surrounds London and was the left overs of a failed road building project leading to some interesting choices and decisions. It seems to do everything wrong and I don't think there are many that have a good word to say about the M25 but it's the only motorway left so I've no option but to tackle this giant.
