Who knew about the M26!? This left over of a greater plan doesn't have much going for it, but it is one of the surviving remains of the infamous London Ringways project. That crazy idea to build several orbital motorways in around London. What happened to that and why did we end up with the M26 as a result? I'll be answering that question as well as looking at some of the features you might now be aware of. Also, some sight seeing. In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding.
