I'm in Leeds this week to look at the M621 motorway. Leeds would appear to have once been the "Motorway City" of the UK but (fortunately?) things didn't work out how they had in mind. The short M621 motorway is a blend of failed projects and bodge jobs where the M1 saw an extension before being linked to the South West Urban Motorway.
