It's raining... sorry about that but we'll crack on anyway and in this episode we're off to Southampton to look at the M271 motorway. It's short... and not that sweet, it's poses a few issues in terms of junction design and layout. I think it could have been a bit better... Still, there's plenty to look at along it's few miles of length. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series will uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.
