  • S01E01 Prison Rodeo

    Baz visits Oklahoma State Penitentiary, a maximum security prison. It holds 1,400 highly dangerous criminal, 73 of whom are on death row. Most of the inmates are on 23 hour lockdown. For two days every year, Oklahoma State Penitentiary gives them the opportunity to participate in the world's only 'behind the walls' prison rodeo. It is very violent and dangerous.

    Baz Ashmawy admits that during the six months filming for his new television series Baz's Extreme Worlds, nothing pushed him more mentally or physically than his days aboard the fishing boat The Martin Luther. Baz joined the crew of the 120ft Beam Trawler in Kilmore Quay, Wexford, and worked onboard as they fished the deep Atlantic ocean for monkfish and megrin. Here lived with the tight crew that included the Captain Pigeon, the deckhands Jay, Chico and Dan, and the cook Jimmy. Baz's trip out to the deep brought the crew face to face with some very dangerous and tough conditions.

    New York city is home to almost 9 million people. It has over 5,000 skyscrapers and high rise apartment blocks. It has 11,000 of the most aggressive firefighters in the world. For a week, Baz was given access all areas to some of the busiest stations in New York. Squad 41 is one of the elite stations. They specialise in extreme situations like chemical fires subway crashes and terrorist attcks. They train Baz into the world of fire fighting by bringing him to the FDNY training academy.

    Cage fighting is the fastest growing sport in the world. Baz follows the story of Chris Stringer, 23, a rising star of cage fighting in Northern Ireland with aspirations to win international titles. In this programme Baz follows Chris as he prepares for a big international bout against American champ Rich 'No Love' Clementi. A win will mean he could get a crack the American cage fighting world. Chris's fiancé Lynne Holt, herself a cage fighter, is standing by her man all the way

  • S01E05 Arctic

    The Arctic is one of the harshest environments in the world. With average winter temperatures of -25 degrees. In this programme Baz joins a a survival expedition, led by survivalist Ross Bowyer, into the arctic wastelands. In his journey Baz survives for 32 hours without food in temperatures of -25 degrees, sleeping rough in the snow.

  • S01E06 Chad

    In tonight's show Baz travels with the Irish army to war-torn Chad. Baz joins the force's 101st Battalion for the first ten days of a four month mission. After 4 days acclimatisation Baz is allowed to join a 48 hour patrol into the heart of rebel territory.

  • S02E01 Colorado Farming

    Baz travels to Mosca, a small farming town in Southern Colorado, where he trains as a farmhand on a very unusual farm. This farm looks after 350 alligators, countless reptiles, emus and wild horses. Living in a rundown RV, Baz must work alongside Jay Young, hard taskmaster and owner, and overcome his fear of these deadly predators. As well as learning the ropes Baz must also learn how to wrestle the largest alligator on the farm, who is 10 feet long, by the end of the week. Will he be able to do it or will he bottle it?

  • S02E02 Body Builders

    Bodybuilding is a sport that takes extreme mental and physical dedication and is an extremely tough lifestyle choice for those involved. In this programme Baz meets Niall Kinsella and Aly Dowling, two dedicated bodybuilders, and journeys with them in the weeks leading up to Ireland's biggest bodybuilding competition. As Baz watches their body shape and psyche change dramatically he is desperate to find out what drives these people and why? And will they achieve their dream?

  • S02E03 Tribes

    In probably his biggest challenge yet Baz travels to one of the most remote places on earth the South Western plains of Ethiopia. This area is home to the Suri tribe one of the fiercest indigenous tribes in the world. Lip plates, stick fighting and living off the land are the norm and Baz spends a few days getting to know and living with the tribe. Among his challenges is drinking cow's blood.

  • S02E04 Exterminators

    Everyone has heard the fact that there is a rat within six feet of you at any one time. Determined to overcome his lifelong fear of rats, Baz goes on the road with some of Ireland's top pest exterminators. As he learns the ropes in the job, he is offered the challenge of helping out at the country's most rat-infested house. Will he overcome his phobia in order to take on this extreme challenge?
