Max, Gwen und Ben reisen nach Cape Canaveral, weil dort lila Blitze gesichtet wurden. Dort angekommen treffen sie wieder auf die Mumie und den Werwolf. Sie finden heraus, dass der ominöse Dr. Vicktor was mit den Blitzen zu tun hat. Aber sie sollen bald jemanden wiedersehen, der eigentlich tot sein müsste.
While driving on a Florida highway, a bus of escaped felons rams into the RV. Ben transforms into Stinkfly (though not intentionally) and tries to stop them. With a little help from Grandpa's handy driving, and a magic spell from Gwen, the felons are put back in jail. On the news, the Tennyson's hear about purple lightning delaying a space shuttle launch. Remembering the lightning from the encounter with the werewolf and mummy aliens, they head to Cape Canaveral. At the Space Center, Ben comes under attack by the werewolf and mummy aliens, and new Frankenstein alien. However, why is the purple lightning occurring, and what ties does it have to an old "friend"?

Un lancio spaziale della NASA viene interrotto da un lampo di luce viola. Questo attrae l'attenzione di Ben, Gwen e nonno Max, che sperano di scoprire l'origine del lupo mannaro e della mummia alieni. Mentre sono alla NASA, Ben incappa in un irritabile scienziato chiamato Doctor Vicktor. La mummia è a bordo dello space shuttle, e Vicktor manda il lupo mannaro nel Nuovo Messico in un lampo di luce viola emesso da un dispositivo di teletrasporto. Ma mentre Ben affronta Doctor Vicktor, quest'ultimo gli rivela che lui non sta realizzando un suo piano. Suscitando l'orrore di Ben, Doctor Vicktor riporta alla vita il suo maestro, Pelle d'Oca.
Al enterarse de extraños sucesos en Cabo Cañaveral, el grupo decide ir investigar. Ahí, encuentran a un malhumorado científico, Viktor, quien parece traerse algo sumamente oscuro entre manos.
