Spring Dance

Všichni se připravují na jarní ples. Steve chce pozvat Darlu, o které si myslí, že to je „nejodvázanější kočka na West Beverly“. Kelly je vyhlášená jako jedna ze čtyř nominovaných na titul „Jarní královna“. Andrea se ptá Brandona, jestli půjde na ples a když on řekne, že se mu tam nechce, tak začne tvrdit, že jí taky ne. Steve zve Darlu, ale ona ho odmítá. Brenda se ptá Andrei, jestli už Brandona pozvala a Andrea se vyjádří, že mohou jít spolu jindy a jinam a nemusí to být zrovna ples. Kelly přijde za Brandonem do Peach Pitu a řekne mu, že „už se všema pěknýma klukama byla a nechce je, nebo oni nechtějí ji“ a zve ho na ples. V tom přichází Steve, aby pozval Kelly, ale ta mu už oznamuje, že jde s Brandonem. Brandon a Kelly navrhují, aby pozval Steve Donnu a že půjdou jako parta. Andrea zve Brandona k sobě na video, ale ten jí oznamuje, že jde s Kelly na ples. Andrea je zklamaná a Brandon se omlouvá, že ona nechtěla a že ho pozvala Kelly. Dylan má s Brendou pronajatý v hotelu, kde se ples koná, pokoj a chtějí se poprvé spolu milovat. Kelly a Brenda si vybírají večerní šaty. Obě si vyberou stejné šaty. Kelly řekne, že je to „laciný hadr“ a že by v tom nikdy nešla a obě šaty vrací. Večer před plesem ale přichází Kelly k Walshovým právě v těch šatech a zjišťuje, že si je Brenda koupila taky. Brenda a Kelly se začnou hádat a obě chtějí po té druhé, aby si vzala jiné šaty. Donna si koupila šaty, ve kterých neprojde dveřmi, nemůže si v nich sednout a ani tančit. Steve se už cestou na ples opije. Andrea kouká sama doma na horor. Kelly s Brandonem tančí. Steve s Donnou „zatím tančit nechce“. David se vsadí se Scottem, že si na plese zatancuje s Kelly. Brenda je v pokoji s Dylanem a je nervózní. Dylan jí ale uklidňuje a vyznává jí lásku. Kelly říká Brandonovi, že mu to „sekne od první chvíle, co ho poznala“. Brandon jí

Der große Frühlingsball steht vor der Tür und bringt auch gleich mal einiges mit sich! Steve fühlt sich von Kelly an diesem Tag mehr als hintergangen, als sie sowohl seinen Geburtstag als auch die Tatsache, dass er adoptiert ist, einfach übergeht. Noch dazu hat sie seinen besten Freund Brandon auf den Ball eingeladen und knutscht auch noch mit ihm rum. Es kommt zur längst überfälligen Aussprache. Andrea weigert sich auf den Ball zu gehen, nachdem sie sich und ihre Ansichten durch Brandons Verabredung mit Highschoolqueen Kelly, mal wieder bestätigt sieht. Ein Horrorfilm und dessen Folgen ändert ihre Meinung. Brenda und Dylan haben sich in dem Hotel, in dem der Ball stattfindet ein Zimmer gemietet und Brenda erlebt ihr erstes Mal mit Dylan. Darübre vergisst sie auch die Blamage, dass sie und Kelly exakt das gleiche Kleid tragen. Donna beraubt sich in ihrem Kleid der Bewegungsfreiheit und David ertanzt sich den Abschlusstanz mit der Ballkönigin, seinem Schwarm Kelly...

Brenda tries to convince Andrea to ask Brandon to the spring dance, but Kelly beats her to it. Steve reluctantly takes Donna, who wears an elaborate gown that impedes sitting or dancing. He ignores her, gets drunk, and lashes out at Brandon and Kelly. Kelly admits her crush on Brandon, and they kiss. However, he nixes a relationship because he thinks of her as a sister. Steve reveals that it is his birthday, and that he is especially sensitive about this after recently learning that he is adopted. He had confided in Kelly, but she forgot because she was caught up in her quest to become spring queen. Brenda and Dylan check into a hotel room upstairs, and she loses her virginity. While watching a horror movie, Andrea daydreams about chasing Kelly with a chainsaw. She decides to go to the dance alone. David wins a dance contest, and receives the right to dance with spring queen Kelly. Llega el cumpleaños de Steve, y también el baile de primavera. Steve irá al baile con Donna después de que Darla le de calabazas, Kelly va con Brandon (Brandon en un principio no quería ir), y Andrea va sola. David gana el concurso del baile, por lo que puede bailar con la reina del baile, Kelly Taylor, de quien está enamorado. Brenda pierde su virginidad con Dylan.
