Jim Walsh musí jet pro Brendu na hranice a zakáže jí se s Dylanem stýkat. U Jackie praskne vodovod a její svatba s Melem se nakonec koná u Walshových. Dylan se na svatbě pohádá s Jimem a zavírá si tak cestu k Brendě. Kelly chodí s Jakem. (Seriál Melrose Place dějově navazuje na tento díl Beverly Hills.)
Jim entscheidet, dass Brenda und Dylan sich vorerst nicht mehr sehen sollen, als Konsequenz für Brendas Lüge. Die ist damit natürlich gar nicht einverstanden und ist bereit, um ihre Liebe zu Dylan zu kämpfen. Der sagt seine Teilnahme an der Hochzeit ab, was schließlich Cindy auf den Plan ruft, die Dylan bittet, den ersten Schritt zu machen. Das tut der auch, doch es endet im Streit. Jim erlaubt ihm auf die Hochzeit zu kommen, aber danach soll er Brenda nicht mehr sehen.
Kurz vor der Hochzeit gibt es im Hause Taylor einen Rohrbruch. Die Hochzeit wird kurzerhand ins Haus der Walshs verlegt. Dort kommt es zum Eklat und scheinbar endgültigen Bruch zwischen Dylan und Jim.
Jim: "Brenda, lass ihn gehen!"
Brenda: "Das will ich aber nicht!"
Jim: "Du wirst Dylan nie mehr sehen, das schwör ich!"
Brenda: "Musstest Du alles zerstören?!"
A furious Jim goes to the Mexican border to retrieve Brenda. Jim bans Dylan from the Walsh house. Jackie learns that Kelly covered for Brenda, and embarrasses her by yelling at her in front of Jake. Brenda and Kelly get into a shouting match at the wedding rehearsal because they are tired of listening to each other whine about their love lives. A pipe bursts in Jackie's house two days before the wedding. The Walshes agree to host the ceremony. Andrea believes she has been snubbed, but her mother eventually gives her the lost wedding invitation. Cindy tries to facilitate a truce between Dylan and Jim. They argue, and a hurt Dylan later rebuffs Jim's olive branch and drives off angrily. Jim orders Brenda to stay away from Dylan. Kelly and Steve agree that they should only be friends. Jake finishes his job and walks out of Kelly's life, but shows up at the wedding and admits his feelings for her. Jim va a riprendere sua figlia ma è molto arrabbiato. Mel e Jackie celebrano le loro nozze in casa Walsh poiché la loro casa si è allagata. Andrea crede di non essere stata invitata al matrimonio, però in realtà non è così. Donna, Kelly e Brenda sono le damigelle d'onore. I genitori di Donna discutono su un possibile divorzio. Dylan è sul punto di bere prima di una conversazione con Jim.
Jim va a recoger a su hija con un más que considerable cabreo. Mel y Jackie celebrarán su boda en casa de los Wlash después de que la suya se inunde, Andrea piensa que no ha sido invitada a la boda, pero en realidad si que lo ha sido. Donna, Kelly y Brenda son damas de honor en la misma. Los padres de Donna hablan sobre un posible divorcio. Dylan está a punto de beber en la boda antes de tener una conversación con Jim.
