مي ابنة حبيب الداعوق الملقب بالمعلّم، أسس مدرسة خاصة في قريته ليبعد شبح الأمية والجهل عن أهل قريته ما لبث ان مات محمّلا مسؤولية المدرسة لابنته البكر مي بعد أن زرع في قلبها ورأسها أحلامه وطموحاته. وأصبحت المدرسة كل حياة مي ومحور إهتمامها، من أجلها ضحت بسعادتها وأحلامها وحبها.
