The pilot episode of Bob the Builder is a 2 minute and 10 second animated clip which was made to pitch the concept of the series to HiT Entertainment, and was maybe shown also to the BBC. The pilot had early versions of characters (mainy Bob and Scoop), and was really short in length, clocking in at 110 seconds. The video was never seen until it was found on a tape by Essential Pictures, (a unknown company) and was uploaded online.
Bob and the machines are in great demand after a heavy storm causes destruction. Meanwhile, at the farm Muck and Lofty find it hard to cope when a fallen tree by the pond traps Pilchard and a family of ducks.
Bob and the machines are painting line-markings on the road. Bob is called away to repair Mrs Potts' garden fence. Spud then sees a way to make mischief! He attaches the line-marking machine to Travis. Travis then speeds off and doesn't know he is leaving a mess. Who will stop him before he paints the whole town white?
Roley nearly flattens a family of hedgehogs who are crossing the road Bob and the machines are working on. They need to find a permanent solution. How will hedgehogs get across a busy road?
Bob and the machines are laying pipes in a field. Meanwhile, Wendy tries to look for Pilchard and gets in a panic when she can't find her anywhere.
Bob and the machines are repairing a tunnel. Bob sends Muck inside carrying a load of bricks. The generator breaks down and the lights go out. Poor Muck is stuck inside the dark tunnel. What can make him move?
Bob and the machines have a major job of resurfacing the main road that must be done today. But poor Bob has a very bad cold. Wendy offers to take over the job. All goes well until Dizzy gets stuck in some wet cement. How will they get her out without letting Bob know?
Bob finds a bit of pipe that he thinks makes a noise like a trumpet and so he fashions it into a bugle. While learning to play it, he doesn't realise that it makes an awful noise!
Bob and the machines are building a dance floor stage ready for a line-dancing contest that evening. Bob needs to go home for some final practice. But when his dancing partner Mavis sprains her ankle, will Bob find someone else to dance with in time?
Scoop and Travis decide to have a race to find out who is fastest? Bob prepares the racecourse. Spud wants Travis to win so he tries some sneaky sabotage to keep Scoop back!
Wendy and the machines decide to pretend to have forgotten Bob's birthday and then surprise him with a party. Wendy goes home to make a cake, and then Muck and Dizzy decide to make a concrete cake for Bob to keep forever.
Bob and the machines are finishing Travis' new shed. Spud wants to pick go apple-picking but cannot reach the apples from the trees. While Bob is working on the shed roof, Spud takes the ladder away. How will poor Bob ever get down?
Spud is worried he is not scary enough anymore after he tries to scare Bird. His problems get worse when he loses his turnip nose and it falls into a mole hole. Muck and Dizzy try to help him find a suitable new nose. Will Spud ever be scary again?
Bob and the machines have to repair Farmer Pickles' barn which is in danger of collapsing. Farmer Pickles is gathering the haystacks. Everything has to be done before a heavy storm breaks.
Spud decides he is bored of being a scarecrow. He finds Bob's toolbox and decides to do some of his own fixing. When Muck sees him with Bob's toolbox, Bob and the machines have to stop him before he hurts himself.
Bob volunteers to decorate Mrs Broadbent's new apartment when the decorators let her down. He has never done a decorating job before and ends up making a complete mess!
Bob and the machines have worked hard digging a trench. The next morning Roley sleeprolls out of the yard and causes a trail of destruction all over town! Bob, Wendy and the machines have to guide Roley back to the yard without waking him up.
Wendy is going away to visit her sister. Bob and the machines decide to surprise her by giving her garden a makeover. Mrs Potts was going to look after the office but she phones in sick. Then Bob has to keep going into the office to check the messages.
Bob is taking care of two jobs at once - putting up bollards around the town hall and putting up Mrs Potts' garden statues. Dizzy decides to help him out but gets very mixed up!
Scoop, Muck and Lofty are working near a bridge. Lofty always has to go the long way round because he can't cross the bridge because of his fear of heights. When Spud sees him pass, he follows him and decides to get up to mischief! Lofty is then scared of Spud and goes back to the yard in shame. Eventually Spud's mischief puts him in danger when he falls off the bridge and onto a branch! Only Lofty could save Spud, if he can overcome his fear of heights.
Bob is getting ready for a Brightest Building Yard competition whilst Wendy and the machines are turning a field into a football pitch. But when Spud kicks a ball at Wendy, the line-marking machine makes a mess and he is ordered to clean it up.
Bob, Wendy and the machines are picking up everyone's rubbish for recycling. Farmer Pickles is having a clear-out and he asks Travis to look after a very old tea set. Spud asks Travis to play hide and seek with him and when Bob, Wendy and the machines arrive, they take everything - including the tea set! Will Farmer Pickles catch them before they recycle the tea set?
Bob and Lofty come across a bird's nest with an egg in it. Wendy explains that they can't move the nest. Dizzy volunteers to watch it. When the egg hatches, Dizzy doesn't want to leave. Bob needs some cement mixing so Dizzy quickly goes to do so. She goes back to the yard just in time to see the bird learn to fly.
Bob is repairing a clocktower. Lofty tries to lift his toolbox onto the scaffolding, but carelessly knocks the ladder over! Then a bat flies out of the belfry and frightens Lofty and he goes off, leaving poor Bob stranded on the scaffolding with his phone on the ground below. Meanwhile, Muck gets into an argument with Scoop and goes off in a sulk.
Bob, Wendy and the machines are building a tennis court. Bob takes care of the umpire seat and the scoreboard, whilst the others lay the green tar surface. Travis and Spud arrive to put up the net, but the net proves too heavy for Spud and he falls over into the wet tar! When they try to sort it out, they just make it worse.
Wendy decides to clean out the fish tank and moves Finn into a bucket of water. Muck comes back to the yard for some cement and accidentally crashes into the lean-to garage! Wendy then has another job to do and then Pilchard thinks Finn will make a delicious snack!
Bob agrees to dress up as Father Christmas for the local school carol concert. But first he has to help out when Farmer Pickles gets completely snowed up.
Bob recieves a new pair of boots. They squeak at first, attracting the attention of some mice. Meanwhile, Spud challenges Bird to a race and helps himself to the contents of Bob's lunchbox.
Bob brings Scoop and Muck to the yard, both machines covered in mud. Bob decides to give them a wash down. But Muck doesn't want to be washed down - he loves being mucky! Just as well when Travis gets stuck in the mud and Bob, Muck and Dizzy have to go and rescue him. Later on Muck, Dizzy and Spud have a mud fight.
Bob attempts to take his day off to photograph the rare Blue-Crested Warbler. However, the computer breaks down and Wendy has to call him to take care of some urgent jobs. Will Bob get his chance to photograph the Blue-Crested Warbler?
Mr Bentley has organised some town improvements. Wendy is to turn an old railway line into a cycle path and Bob is to turn an old rubbish dump into a park. Lofty has been equiped with a magnet to remove the old rails. Lofty's magnet comes in useful to search for Mr Bentley's pen. Bob then recycles the old sleepers and rails into a park bench.
Bob, Wendy and the machines are building a bus stop. Roley is enraptured by a tortoise he nearly runs over and names it Timmy. Dizzy finds out that it belongs to Mrs Potts. However, at the yard when Bob takes some cabbages from Travis' trailer, Timmy sneaks aboard.
Bob and Wendy both secretly order new saws for each other. However, the next day Mr Dixon's delivery van breaks down. Spud sees it as a chance to show everyone who useful he can be and takes one of the sacks. Unfortunately Spud can't read, so all the parcels end up going to the wrong people!
Bob, Wendy and the machines are building a new conservatory for Mr Beasley. But they forget to feed poor Pilchard her breakfast! Pilchard then has to fend for herself to find someone to feed her.
Bob and Wendy have attended a lunch at the town hall. They leave Scoop in charge of finishing the Mayor's garage. However, when Mr Bentley arrives the inspect the work, Scoop gets too big-headed and accidentally crushes Mr Bentley's gold watch! Meanwhile, the Mayor presents Bob with a gold watch of his own.
During a break Spud persuades Scoop to help him play some tricks. When Scoop goes back to work Spud frightens Lofty so much that he falls onto his side. When Spud goes for help, Scoop thinks it's just another trick. Luckily Bob decides to make sure.
Spud is having trouble trying to shake off a persistent crow who is following him everywhere. He gets a fast ride aboard Travis to try and blow the crow off. But when he swerves to avoid Muck, the load spills!
Bob and the machines are working at a tunnel overnight. Muck is staying overnight at the farm with Travis. However, he gets scared of the dark and Spud's scary noises and runs away and goes missing. Meanwhile, Pilchard investigates an owl hoot and also goes missing and Spud gets lost in the woods.
Travis has to deliver a load of gravel. Scoop offers to help him and Spud gets a ride aboard. However, Spud unhooks the trailer to give Travis a rest and rolls away! Meanwhile, Wendy and the machines are putting up a signpost at the crossroads.
Wendy and the machines are building a new path for Mrs Potts. Mrs Potts won't let Roley work on the path because she is worried he will crush the flower beds. Roley feels hurt but feels better when supervising Wendy with the hand-roller. However, Muck accidentally drops the flagstones and they break. But Dizzy comes up with a bright idea.
While digging a ditch at Farmer Pickles' field, Bob and Scoop come across some old bones. Bob goes to show a bone to Mr. Ellis at the museum. Scoop is left on guard at the ditch. Spud persuades him to leave and see the bigger bones he's found. Then Spud decides to put on his own dinosaur display. Mr Ellis thinks they have found a stegosaurus skeleton but is very disappointed that some of the bones are missing. Bob goes back to the field and Scoop remembers what Spud told him.
Bob drops off some tires for Farmer Pickles. When Scoop starts sneezing, Bob thinks he has hayfever so sends him back to the yard. When Spud arrives, causing trouble, Bob asks him to go and look after Scoop. Spud tries to find out what makes Scoop sneeze.
Bob finds a hibernating Porcupine in Farmer Pickles' cottage so he sends Scoop to take it back to the yard. Roley decides to look after it. When Farmer Pickles arrives to see Wendy, Scruffty jumps out of Travis' trailer and he and Pilchard chase each other. Roley worries that it might wake the Porcupine.
Bob and Wendy are working on a shed and a painting job for Farmer Pickles. Dizzy has to guard the wet cement while Bob gets the shed to put up. Meanwhile, things go wrong when Wendy lets Spud help to paint the farmhouse.
Wendy and the machines are building a crazy golf course. Bob prepares a windmill for one of the holes. Wendy finds out that she has the instructions for Bob's windmill, but when Wendy phones Bob he says he doesn't need them. Back at the yard, there's one finished Bob-sized windmill.
Bob is putting up a rainwater tank next to Farmer Pickles' barn. When Bob goes away, Spud persuades Lofty to lift the rainwater tank into place, but it rolls down the hill and smashes the wooden boat Wendy has made for her nephew!
Bob and the machines are refurbishing the bandstand where Farmer Pickles is set to be the conductor. But the sheet music falls off Travis' trailer and when Spud finds it he decides to make paper planes! Will Farmer Pickles sadly have to cancel the band?
Farmer Pickles asks Bob to build a dog house for Scruffty, and drops his phone. Mrs Percival phones to remind Farmer Pickles to look after the guinea-pigs for the school holidays, and Wendy answers it. Wendy sends Scoop off with the phone and the message, but he passes it on to Spud, who passes it on to Travis. When Farmer Pickles gets the message, he thinks he's getting a delivery of little pigs and realises he has nowhere to put them.
Mrs Percival is raising money for a new clubhouse. Bob decides to do a sponsered runathon and the machines decide to do a sponsered demolition of the old pavillion.
Bob's new personal organiser has details of all his jobs, but it breaks down. Bob then decides to tie knots in his handkerchief to remind himself. He gets all his jobs mixed up! At the end of the day, Wendy reminds him what his last knot was for.
Bob and the machines are building a garden pond for rock star Lenny Lazenby - Roley's hero. Meanwhile, when Wendy is laying out a nature trail, she discovers a family of ducks and their pond has dried up. Lenny agrees to let them stay at his garden pond.
Bob is building a time capsule for Mr Ellis. It is to be buried outside the museum and in 100 years time someone will open it. However, when Spud finds it, he takes it away thinking it's a treasure chest! He throws everything out of it and plans to bury it himself. Will someone find Spud and the missing time capsule before Spud buries it?
Wendy is in the countryside on her day off, doing some watercolour painting. But Scruffty buries her phone. Meanwhile, Bob and the machines are laying flagstones to make the town's coat of arms.
Whilst chasing rabbits in a field, Scruffty falls down a hole. Muck is spooked by the noises he makes and thinks it's a ghost. He calls Bob to have a look and then Lofty hauls Scruffty out of the hole.
When Mr Bentley gets soaked whilst inspecting a pipe, Spud decides to take over his job, even though he has no qualifications!
Bob is building a hen coop for Farmer Pickles as his hen has abandoned her eggs. Spud decides to look after the chicks.
Wendy is holding a barbeque party for her sister Jenny who is coming to visit in which the whole town is invited. However, the machines are too tired to go after laying a garden path.
Spud builds a skateboard out of an old ironing board at the rubbish dump and heads through town! Bob has just put up some traffic calming measures.
Wendy takes Muck and Dizzy to clear a blocked drain. Muck is spooked by the gurgling noises. Dizzy convinces him that it is a drain monster!
When Mrs Percival has the school yard full of props for the school play, Spud decides to borrow the dragon costume. He pretends to be a magic dragon when he sees Muck.
When Scoop notices that Farmer Pickles has entered Scruffty into the dog show, he becomes determined to enter Pilchard, even though she's a cat!
Bob, Mr Bentley and the machines are building a bird hide at the nature reserve and then waiting to catch a glimpse of the rare Grebe Warbler. But instead they see Spud disguised as the bird!
Bob's Auntie Dora, who is a stickler for tidiness, is planning to visit and the yard is in a complete mess. The machines only make it worse.
Spud decides to skate on the duck pond when it is frozen over, but the ice starts to crack! Dizzy calls on Bob and Lofty to come to the rescue.
Roley nearly runs over Bob's toolbox. He then worries that he is always very clumsy. His anxiety makes him more accident-prone than ever!
It's winter in Littletown. Bob wears a big parka that makes him looks like an eskimo. Wendy's Sister Jenny comes for a visit after a Ski Trip.

Bob buys a metal detector to look for treasure while Wendy and the machines build a car wash.

The whole town is practising for an egg and spoon race. Spud has problems keeping his egg on the spoon, so he decides to cheat by using some of Bob's putty!
Bob is tiling a roof red, but a mix up at JJ's yard leads to Wendy tiling the other side green!
When Mr Sabatini recieves a new football, he demonstrates his soccer skills to Dizzy. But he manages to kick the ball through his shop window! Bob and JJ have to carry a new window pane through town.
Roley must rescue Bird to save the day.
Spud jumps in a puddle & ruins Bob's paint job.
After seeing a poster for the school play, Spud decides he's like to be a musketeer. He decides a fence post would make a perfect sword. But when he pulls one out, all the sheep escape!
It's Wendy's birthday, but she doesn't want any fuss like a surprise party. So Bob organises a surprise magic show instead.
Mr. Beasley makes some new friends.
JJ loses his new remote control plane - only for it to be found by Spud.
Molly sees a family of otters by a stream. Trix wants to watch them too, but they are scared when they see a big shiny machine. Muck devises a good way to watch them.

Bob has promised to build a cat flap for Pilchard. But first Farmer Pickles needs a fence building to keep the rabbits off his cabbages. However, this blocks the badgers' path to the stream.
Bob and the machines are building an exercise park which famous goalkeeper David Dixon, Mr Dixon's brother, is to open. Bob and Spud think they are no good at football, but will their luck change?
Dizzy goes on a camping trip.
Pilchard meets some tiny creatures & treats them like pets.
Scoop is keen to enter the snowman competition. But first a burst pipe outside Mr Sabatini's needs fixing. Meanwhile, all the snowmen's noses are disappearing.
Bob is building a through-lounge for Mr and Mrs Bentley. He asks Lofty to carry the long metal girder. But when Dizzy and Trix decide to have a race, the girder accidentally damages the sides of a bridge.

Farmer Pickles has a new family of pigs delivered to his farm, and Bob must build a new home for them.
Hamish gets a new home. Muck suddenly goes in a racing mood. Pilchard meets some tiny creatures and decides to treat them like pets.
Scoop is busy helping Bob and doesn't have time to learn to dance for a special dance display.
Bob volunteers to look after the farm while Farmer Pickles takes Humpty to a pig show.
Bob has been asked to install a new air conditioning unit at Mr Sabatini’s restaurant.
Spud accidentally breaks a statue of a horse that Molly has made. Worried, Spud takes some building supplies from Bob and Wendy to fix the statue.
Now that Robert has taken over the yard, Wendy can move to Sunflower Valley. The machines set up Wendy's caravan, complete with solar panels. Bob is having a lot of trouble getting things done fast enough with his dad Robert slowing him down, and Wendy realises she'll miss Farmer Pickles's organic eggs. Robert finds some chicken wire and timber, but then he goes missing.
Scoop and the machines are in Sunflower Valley setting up Wendy's caravan. Robert gets lost, delaying Wendy's departure from Bobsville. Wendy finally gets everything packed, and ends up in Sunflower Valley, where she is amazed to see her caravan with its own little vegetable patch, solar panels and hens. She decides she's going to love it in Sunflower Valley.
Bob and the gang are building the road connecting Bob's mobile home with the new yard. As Bob's explaining the job, a little bird flies overhead, reminding Roley of his friend Bird from Bobsville. Roley then gets stuck in some mud. The little bird tries to build its nest in a variety of awkward places, finally picking a quiet spot. Roley escapes and helps protect the nest.
The team are building Bob's new workshop at the new yard. Scoop is desperate to get stuck in and does everything he can to help. He takes on too much and ends up falling asleep, moaning about how he can't be in two places at once. Robert overhears and calls Bobsville Machine Hire. When Scoop wakes up, he hears a familiar voice. Benny is going to be helping Bob's Dad from now on.
Benny and Scrambler want to delay Farmer Pickles and his hay delivery so that Bob can get the farm storerooms built in time. They can't find the farmer however, so everyone decides to help Bob finish the job on time.
Spud thinks that Farmer Pickles and Bob are building a new super-sized scarecrow out of straw to replace him, but he's got the wrong end of the stick. Farmer Pickles reveals the big surprise - a straw bale house with a room for Spud.
Scrambler is desperate to help Bob build a drying barn for Farmer Pickles' sunflower farm. Scruffty jumps about, getting in everyone's way. Bob gives Scrambler the job of taking Scruffty for a walk to keep him out of trouble! The duo find an off-road track and exhaust themselves on it, leaving the others to finish the barn. Scrambler and Scruffty end up great friends.
The team are building Farmer Pickles's new factory. Everyone is excited to meet Marjorie, the new manager. Dizzy is full of questions, and Muck teases her. Dizzy resolves to work without asking anything, which leads to health and safety issues. Dizzy decides to ask questions again and the issues are resolved.
Mr Bentley is organising a fair in the town square and Bob helps set up the stalls.
Scrambler is playing with the Sunflower Valley children: Sunny, Saffron, Carlo and Cassia in the playground. It’s the last day before they have to go back to school in Bobsville and they are all sad to be leaving.
Mr. Bentley prepares to welcome a group of newcomers to the valley. Spud attempts to help out, but inevitably ends up complicating matters.
Roley's preparations for a cafe opening are made difficult by some troublesome moles.
Bob and the machines make a watering system for Farmer Pickles' new orchard.
When Bob builds a seaweed farm for Annie Pickles, Scrambler volunteers to help collect the seaweed from the beach and bring it to the garden.
The team starts work on Annie Pickles' new seafront house, but Muck does not concentrate on the task in hand.
Roley wants to help with the apple harvest, but is not much use, so Bob finds something he can do much better.
The machines build a goat run for Farmer Pickles' newest arrival.
Benny gets the wrong idea about a conversation he overheard and heads off into marshland, looking for jungle animals.
Dizzy tries to help the children get to school, but new road signs confuse them.
Packer arrives in Sunflower Valley, but he finds it very difficult to concentrate on the task at hand.
Bob designs a house with the help of his father, while Mr. and Mrs. Bentley conduct a survey.
Today’s build is an amazing wooden A-frame cottage for Chip Chipper the woodsman. Spud is in awe of Chip and decides to be a woodsman just like him. He does this by copying every move that chip makes.
Bob is building a new dairy and Muck is entrusted with looking after the cows. When the cows cause chaos and knock down the half-built dairy, everyone helps to rebuild it so the cows can be milked before sunset arrives.
Roley is mystified as to why Pilchard doesn't want to play with him any more, until he discovers her with a litter of kittens, and is proud to become Uncle Roley.
Wendy helps to be a replacement gymnast while Gripper and Grabber were arguing as they help Bob and the team build Sunflower Valley's sports stadium.
Mr. Bentley takes Scrambler on as his personal trainer when Bob and the team build an exercise park at Bobland Bay
Zoomer the skidoo is staying with Bob in Sunflower Valley. And, when a huge snowfall blocks the whole valley, Zoomer's caterpillar tracks are ideal to help Scoop find his way through the snow with his snowplough to unblock the valley. But Zoomer is impatient and easily distracted. When he sees a distressed little rabbit he leaves Scoop on his own. With no expert guidance, Scoop drives into a deep snowbank and gets stuck. Zoomer races off to get help from another machine with caterpillar tracks... Muck! Zoomer is very sorry. He was only trying to help the little rabbit but Bob has a great machine-inspired idea to help the animals!
Flex is having a hard time thinking of an idea for a show on Sunflower Valley's newest radio station dedicated to Bob and his team.
Tumbler and Dizzy are on their way to collect some concrete when Dizzy gets trapped in a snow drift.
Bob FM radio host Mike Turntable has to pick up a new microphone and leaves Spud in charge of the station while he's away.
Scoop and Muck have to work very quietly to avoid waking Mike Turntable which is no easy task.
Chip Chipper and Scrambler are taking the Sunflower Valley kids on an overnight "Badger Patrol". Their motto is "Be prepared" - advice that Scrambler is determined to follow. When Roley tells him that the patrol will need shelter, Scrambler rushes to get a tent from Mrs Bentley - but Chip has already organised the kids to build bivouac shelters. Then Roley tells Scrambler that the patrol will need food so he rushes off to get some fruit and nuts. But again, Chip beats him to it with some energy bars. Finally, Roley says that the children will need to keep warm at night so Scrambler zooms off to get some warm clothing, not realising that the patrol already have warm jackets. Scrambler feels bad for not being properly prepared. When the patrol needs some badger food, Scrambler realises that his fruit and nuts are ideal. He was prepared after all! The patrol declare Scrambler to coolest patrol member ever.
Mr Bentley is in need of a proper Mayor's office so he can stop filing his paperwork in Mrs Bentley's greenhouse. Bob sets about constructing a special earthship out of unusual recycled materials. Sumsy wants to help and sets off to find some materials for Bob. Unfortunately, she gets the wrong end of the stick and brings some bricks and some glass from Mr Bentley's greenhouse - things that people still need. Chaos ensues when birds make off with Mr Bentley's paperwork. Spud retrieves the paperwork back but Sumsy feels terrible. Eventually Sumsy has a great idea for some unusual office furniture, woven from recycled wooden twigs - including a filing cabinet for Mr Bentley's paperwork!
Lofty wants to be special friends with a banana tree and doesn't let expert Flex help him look after it.
Roley persuades Mr. Bentley to design a flat garden so that he can show-off how good he can flatten things. Unfortunately, a completely flat space is not ideal for a botanical garden.
A new amphibious vehicle called Splasher arrives and sets about rescuing people - even when they don't need it.

However, the team have a big job building Travis a garage, and Bob isn't sure Roley will have enough time to find lost property as well. When they discover that an important piece of paper has gone missing, Roley's lost property skills are put to the test.
Bob, Wendy and the machines are at Farmer Pickles' Farm, ready to build Spud's new room. When Farmer Pickles says that his farm house is his dream home, Scratch gets the idea that Spud should have his own dream room too. His excitement rubs off on Spud, who decides that if it's his dream room, he can have whatever he wants.
The team go to the theatre to build a storage shed. Dickie Olivier tells them that they can build the walls from some old sets, but not the ones needed for the play that evening. Dizzy wishes she could be in the play like Spud, and decides to help him practise. However, she hasn't been paying attention and they accidentally borrow the important pieces of set.
The team are building a jungle themed mini golf course, but when a wild fox turns up and follows him around, Roley is convinced that this wild animal must have lost its friends and decides to be its new one! Meanwhile, Bob is wondering where all the golf balls have disappeared to - there's only one bucketful left.
Scrambler wants to be a Super-Smasher hero while he builds Farmer Pickles' milk shed. He works alongside the whole Can-Do Crew, to get the job done! Wendy, Travis, and Muck show the team there's more to strength than lifting heavy blocks and that following instructions is always important. Bob and his crew finish the job with the super power of tools and teamwork!
There's plans to build an enormous amusement park and it's up to the Can-Do Crew to get it all done! It will take teamwork of prehistoric proportions to finish the job and come along as they uncover an underground world of dinosaur bones!
Bob and the team are finishing putting in the lift (elevator in the US version) for a new skyscraper in Spring City. Muck is curious what is a lift and Bob explains people would get tired climbing stairs in tall buildings so they have little carriages called lifts which take people up to the top of the building. Mayor Madison and Mr Bentley arrive to take a picture for tomorrow's picture on the newspaper but the team haven't put the lift in so they plan to come back at 4 o'clock. Scoop, Muck and Lofty load Tiny's cage to lift for Bob, Wendy and Leo. Scoop still feels jealous and plans to ride in the carriage. Muck asks him questions while Scoop goes up and Scoop replies that he can see Spring City and its a long way down. When Bob, Wendy and Leo come down and look up. Bob tells Tiny to stop and he does but one of the chains holding the cage snaps and Scoop finds himself in a part of the skyscraper. Bob has a plan. He tells Wendy to get the welding equipment and Leo says he'll get the welding masks and he and Wendy get the said stuff. Bob and Wendy then weld the chain back together and Bob rides up in the cage to get Scoop. Scoop is frightened and Won't come to the carriage to Bob plans to get him but Scoop says it's dangerous so he comes to him, but Scoop decides to drive to him.. Bob and Scoop arrive down. Leo and Bob then finish the lift while Wendy does the electricity. Mayor Madison arrive for the picture. Mayor Madison and Mr Bentley must wear hard hats while being at the top. Gull lands on Mayor Madison's hat and she asks Mr Bentley to help but he keeps taking pictures.
Bob and the team are finishing the new Milk Shake Bar, and Scoop is inspired when he sees Chef Tattie experimenting with all kinds of ingredients. Scoop's assignment is to mix concrete to complete the parking lot, and he decides he wants to experiment too. Bob and Wendy are having fun tasting milkshakes, so they aren't aware that Scoop is mixing all kinds of crazy materials into the concrete in an effort to make the parking lot look fun. The next morning, Scoop enthusiastically rolls into the parking lot, only to notice that the concrete isn't dry. Now they have to start all over! Bob gives Scoop the "proper" colorful materials to mix into the concrete. Soon it is dry, and looks just as terrific as Chef Tattie's Milk Shake Bar.
Bob is in the kitchen preparing lunch for the team when a hungry Pilchard sneaks into his bag and hitches a ride to work. The day's job is at Chef Tattie's UFO-themed revolving restaurant, where Bob is building the kitchen, Wendy is wiring the revolving floor, and Leo and the machines are decorating the entrance. Pilchard climbs out of Bob's bag and causes strange things to happen on the site, prompting the Machines to think there is an alien. When the restaurant starts revolving at high speed, Bob saves the day by luring Pilchard off the remote control with a sandwich. Together, the team finishes the restaurant in time, and the Machines discover that the "alien" was actually Pilchard.
The zoo is getting a new giraffe—Lofty's favorite animal! Bob and the team are building its enclosure and viewing platform. Unfortunately, Lofty won't be able to see the giraffe—his job is to lift supplies over the wooden fence. The work is nearly complete when the giraffe arrives. Amid the excitement, Lofty becomes so anxious that when trying to peer through the small spaces in the fence, he crashes through it! The giraffe flees, but Lofty uses his knowledge of giraffes to lure the animal back with food. The team finally finishes the enclosure just in time, and Jenny names the giraffe after its biggest fan…Lofty!
Bob and the team are installing new barriers and a driveway at Fixham Town Hall to prepare for the unveiling of a Mayor Madison statue. At the site, Scoop accidentally breaks an underground water pipe and, amid the chaos, Lofty breaks the paving slabs. Bob remedies the situation by using the broken slabs to make a new paving design. The team finishes the job and the statue is unveiled with an unexpected surprise. The statue is not of Mayor Madison, but of Mr. Bentley in his snorkeling outfit!
The Fixham Medieval Festival is opening tonight, and Bob and the team are building a portcullis. Leo becomes distracted role-playing as Prince Fix-a-Lot and gets trapped inside the castle, where he hears ghostly wails. Bob and the team fit a new drawbridge and raise the portcullis. Bob bravely ventures into the castle, saves Leo, and exposes the source of the ghostly wails: Mr. Bentley warming up his vocal cords for his performance. "Queen" Madison praises Bob's heroic efforts at the festival that night, knighting him "Bob the Brave."
Saffi declares that Wendy is her hero and asks her to build a treehouse for the Spring City Rockets' first club meeting. Saffi tries to help Wendy, but her assistance only causes more problems. When Saffi uses the treehouse before it's ready, it begins to collapse with the Rockets' trophy inside. In an effort to save the trophy, Wendy heroically repels from a tree and retrieves it. Together, Wendy and the team rebuild the treehouse.
Bob and the team are building the vet a new reception area for her office to separate cats and dogs. Mayor Madison and her cat have an appointment that evening, and the vet is worried because Cooper, the dog she is looking after, loves to chase cats. Leo promises to keep the animals away from the site, but soon Cooper is chasing Pilchard around the reception area and havoc ensues. Leo finally regains control of the animals, and the team is able to finish the new reception area in time for the Mayor's arrival.
It's Curtis' birthday, and Bob and the team have a surprise for him. While Leo takes Curtis out for a birthday meal, Bob and the team look after his garage and give the workshop a makeover. When distractions occur at the garage, Bob needs more time and Leo stalls his dad. Scoop's unfamiliarity with mechanics causes him to break the new roof. Bob and the team work quickly to fix the problem, and an anxious Curtis finally returns to the garage, delighted with the birthday surprise!
Bob and the team are building Spring City's new ice rink. With nowhere else to play ice hockey, the Rockets plead Bob to finish the job quickly. Muck wants to play ice hockey too and inspires the other machines to join in. Bob and Wendy return to the site and find that the Machines have knocked down all of the barriers. Per Muck's suggestion, the team slides the panels across the ice for speedy delivery. The Rockets arrive just as the job is completed, and Muck and the other machines are happy to watch the Rockets' ice hockey game.
The Natural History Museum is receiving its first exhibit, and Bob and the team are finishing off a new extension to house the full-sized Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton. However, Leo discovers that Mr. Bentley provided incorrect dimensions for the doors for the new extension and the dinosaur skeleton will not fit through them! Per Lofty's suggestion, the team dismantles the skeleton. They have difficulty reassembling it, but the photo on Leo's phone acts as an adequate guide and the team is able to successfully complete the job.
The zoo is preparing for a bear's arrival and needs Bob and the team to finish building the new bear enclosure. Bob plans a three-tiered natural habitat that resembles a rocky mountain, but Scoop is thinking bigger. With the other machines to help him, Scoop builds the structure higher—too high—and it collapses. Bob considers Scoop's attempt and redesigns the mountain to be four levels. The crate arrives and two bears, a mother and her cub, are set to enjoy their new enclosure.
Spring City is hosting a Fun Run, and it's up to Bob and the team to build a brand-new fitness trail. Scoop's idol, Skye Sampson, a renowned athlete, is organizing the event. Since Scoop can't participate in the Fun Run himself, he organizes the Muscle Machine Games and accidentally breaks the fitness trail equipment. In a race against the clock, the team pulls together to finish the job before the event begins.
"Ballroom Blitz," the TV dance sensation, is coming to Spring City! Bob and the team are building a sprung dance floor for the occasion to appease the star dancer, Sylvain de Souza. Team Bob and the Spring City Rockets catch dance fever, but Lofty's dancing attempts only result in him damaging part of the dance floor. Despite Lofty's self-doubt, Sylvain encourages him to follow his dreams. The team rallies to repair the floor in time for the performance, and Wendy takes the stage to dance with Sylvain.
Mila is appearing on the children's TV game show "Whiz-A-Quiz," and Bob and the team are building an outdoor movie area so that the Spring City community can watch the show together. Lofty is so thrilled to help the Spring City Rockets decorate the stadium that he leaves Leo to finish building the support frames for the giant screen all by himself. The frame cannot hold the giant screen and it falls apart, breaking the frame, stage, and audience seating. After a hard day's work, the team completes the job, and the community gathers to watch Mila win the trophy for Spring City.
Spring City is celebrating winter with the Winter in Spring Festival! Bob and the team are building a triple chairlift to transport passengers to the top of Observatory Hill for the occasion. When Skye offers Bob a snowboarding lesson, Scoop decides that he wants a try at the snowy hill too. Despite Wendy's warnings, Scoop slides down the slope. He crashes into the support beam and the chairlift cable jumps off the wheel tracks. Chairlift passengers Mila, JJ, and Skye are dangling from the cable, and Bob snowboards swiftly down the slope to the emergency brake. After the chairlift is repaired, Bob joins Mila and JJ for snowboarding stunts at the opening of the festival.
Bob and the team are finishing off the new penguin pool at the zoo. It's nearly complete when Lofty accidently drops a large rock and it smashes the observation window. The penguins arrive at the site before the window is repaired, and Lofty suggests they revel in the Town Hall’s fountain until the pool is ready. When Mayor Madison unexpectedly returns from touring the city with the unimpressed Mayor Snipe from Riverdale, she is outraged by the scene. Mayor Snipe, however, is thrilled. Bob and the team finish the job, and the penguins are shuffled back to the zoo to enjoy their new pool.
Bob and the team are at the racetrack building three horse stables for the Spring City Sprint. Leo slips into "cowboy mode" at the sight of horses. After a few antics, he scares the horses and they escape from their paddock, destroying the day’s work. Bob and Scoop round up the horses while Wendy and Lofty safely steer them back to their paddock. The day comes to a close and Bob, Wendy, and Lofty must rebuild the stables overnight. The next morning, the race is off, but Bob, Wendy, and Lofty are already fast asleep.
Roland’s Gifts employs Bob and the team to install a robotic picking system that will pick items off the shelves, wrap them and put them into delivery vans. It's the Christmas season and because of an impending snowstorm, the team needs to work fast. Boasting about his knowledge of robotics, Leo attempts to operate the system and it malfunctions.With the system down, the team works together to replicate the mechanical movements of the robots in order to complete all of the toy orders.
Bob and the team are digging the foundations for a skyscraper in Spring City's new business zone. When Scoop and Muck engage in an on-site digging challenge against each other, Scoop makes an unexpected find. Bob calls an archaeologist, who announces that the discovery is Roman ruins, and the building is halted while the site is excavated. This event prompts an educational experience for the team as they learn about ancient tools. Bob and the team construct a viewing platform/walkway over the ruins so that people can safely watch the dig unfold.
The new Dinosaur Park excites visitors with a trail of life-sized models of dinosaurs, including a roaring animatronic model of a triceratops. Mayor Madison is visiting in the evening, and Bob and the team must complete the park before her arrival. When Scoop tries to surprise Leo by pushing the animatronic triceratops in his path, Muck is frightened and sends the model teetering halfway down the cliff. In effort to save the attraction, Bob rappels down, guides Lofty's hook to grab the model, and rides it back to the cliff top. Mayor Madison arrives for her private viewing and the team discovers that the triceratops' roaring noise is broken. Muck comes to the rescue: he hides in the bushes and musters a convincing (and terrifying) roar.
Bob and the team are completing the second stage of a bridge over the river, to be finished for Spring City's Quarter Marathon. They are building a bridge deck and spar that will be connected by supporting cables. In the midst of the day's work, Scoop catches a fish in his bucket and, panicking, causes Lofty to reverse suddenly. Lofty's back end dangles off the edge of the partly constructed bridge, and Bob reels Lofty in by using his own hook and winch. The bridge is finished in time and is officially opened by the unexpected marathon winner: Mr. Bentley.
The train is almost ready to take to the track on Spring City's new monorail system! Bob and the team are completing one last station before the train's first journey. With Bob test-driving the route, Leo is left to direct the Machines and juggle three jobs at once. Disaster ensues on the site when the roof of the station crashes into the track and bends it out of shape just as Bob is on his way to the station…by train. Leo uses the signal box phone to call Bob, urging him to brake. Bob safely stops the train, and the team work together to fix the track and finish the job in time for the train's first official journey.
Bob and the team are building the set for the movie Space Robots 3. While the team is busy at work, Leo dreams of starring in the film and tries to capture the attention of the director. When the cameras start rolling, Leo is on set, hidden inside a prop. His antics result in the damage of the set and the beloved robot star, D11D. Though D11D cannot be mended in time, superfan Saffi is able to fit inside the robot's casing to play the role.
Spring City Studios is planning to produce a new Dash Lightning film, and Bob and the team are commissioned to build the set! While the team is at work, Muck is so consumed with meeting his hero, Dash Lightning, that he is distracted from his job. After a series of mistakes, the entire set falls apart. Together, the team rebuilds the set, and Muck sacrifices watching the film shoot to help hold up the scenery. The filming wraps, and Muck is finally able to meet his hero.
Bob and the team are building a bridged walkway over the Komodo Dragon enclosure at the zoo. Muck is terrified of Komodo Dragons, so he is instead clearing out an empty enclosure. When Muck finds eggs, he returns to the Komodo Dragon enclosure to seek Jenny's help. A Komodo hisses at him and he fearfully backs onto the walkway, which collapses, causing Leo to dangle in midair from his safety harness. Muck overcomes his fear and acts to save him. After the rescue, Muck and the team repair the walkway. Muck learns that the eggs he found were those of the Komodo and that he was cleaning their former enclosure. The eggs hatch, and Jenny names the first one after Muck.
It's time for the Machines' Checkup Day! After a wash, the Machines are ready for Curtis to examine them to ensure that they're working properly. However, Scoop notices that his orange emergency light is broken and worries about his inspection. He tries to hide but only becomes more disheveled. Bob finds Scoop, and Wendy helps prepare him for his examination. Scoop and Lofty support each other through their checkups and receive positive results.
Roland Sweet is opening a new game store and asks Bob and the team to build a giant outdoor game-testing area. Leo and Scoop are assembling a giant keyboard and the rest of the team is building a child-size dollhouse and a Snakes and Ladders board. Confident in his musical knowledge, Leo ignores the instructions and treats the keyboard as a jigsaw puzzle. The attempt is unsuccessful, and Leo and Scoop must start over. Following the instructions, Leo and Scoop complete the project in time for Sylvain de Souza to dance out some fabulous tunes across the keyboard.
Bob and the team are building a new aquarium for a baby tiger shark at the Sea Life Center. As Muck holds Stripy the Shark in a tank inside his tray, Scoop is inspired to take their new "pet" for a tour of the neighborhood. Muck's front bucket becomes lodged between two trees, and Leo arrives at the scene to help pull Muck free. Bob finishes the tank and Stripy is lowered into her new home, wowing adoring spectators.
Bob and the team are building an automatic car wash for Curtis' garage. In an effort to ensure that the tarmac is completely flat, Roley keeps checking and rechecking to a fault. During the second test run of the car wash, Roley thinks he sees loose tarmac and rushes to fix it. Chaos ensues, and Bob and the team enact a quick repair. The car wash is finished just as Philip, Mayor Madison and Mr. Bentley arrive to use the new system. Windows open, Phillip hurries through, washing not only the outside of the car but Mayor Madison and Mr. Bentley too.
Bob and the team are working at the Fixham Campsite when Dizzy is inspired to camp out with Leo and the Spring City Rockets. She and the Machines return to the site that evening just as Leo's spooky story causes a rise in the group. Havoc ensues when the Machines are mistaken to be the creatures from the story. They destroy the work site and Dizzy is left behind when her wheel gets stuck. There, she cares for an injured hedgehog and is awarded an animal care badge for her efforts. Dizzy even gets another chance to camp out!
Bob and the team are building a 100-meter zip line for sports guru Skye Sampson. When Leo is put in charge of finishing the launch platform and fixing the zip line, his mistakes prompt him to question if he should be a builder. Scoop and Lofty attempt to ease Leo's concerns but instead accidentally demolish the platform. Bob reassures Leo that it takes study and practice to be a good builder. Together they form an alternative plan for a longer and more thrilling zip line.
Bob and his team are building a launch pad for Stella, a rocket that is expected to break the record for the smallest rocket ever launched into space. But obstacles soon arise when Lofty attempts to place the rocket on the launch pad too soon. Stella flops into the wet concrete and, in a panic, Lofty accidentally rips her parachute. The team springs into action and washes the rocket, and Lofty is inspired to patch up the parachute with the Spring City Rockets' celebration banner. Stella launches successfully and returns to Earth safely. She broke the record!
Spring City has enlisted the help of Bob and the team to build Spring City Splash, the new water park. With a wave pool and splash zone completed, there's only one thing left to build: the double dragon water slide. Thrilled to see the dragon slides, Scoop is disappointed when he is assigned to build the support beams and rushes through his job. After completing his tasks, Scoop is finally able to see the dragon slides. His shoddy work, however, causes the slides to crash to the ground. The team works through the night to fix them and finishes in time to celebrate JJ's birthday.
Bob and the team are building a huge Ferris wheel. The project gets delayed, however, when Leo and Muck stay up all night playing new computer game, Space Robots! Bob, Wendy, Lofty, and Two-Tonne wait for Leo and Muck to bring the materials to attach the observation pods to the wheel but, unbeknownst to them, Leo and Muck have fallen asleep. They finally arrive, but not before the Spring City Rockets show up, ready for their ride on the wheel. While the rest of the team assembles the Ferris wheel, Leo distracts the Spring City Rockets by showing them how to reach the top level of Space Robots!
Spring City is awarding local citizens who improve community life. Mayor Madison appoints Bob and the team to build an area to display the award recipients' gold stars. Meanwhile, Mayor Madison is inundated with suggestions of who should receive the first gold star. Scoop tries to impress her in an effort to win the award, but his antics accidently cause a massive power outage. Bob springs into action to fix the problem and is chosen as the recipient of the city’s first gold star.
Bob and the team are repairing the Fixham Lighthouse after it was damaged in a storm. Lofty helps remove and replace the lamp, and Scoop replaces the power cable from the lighthouse to the junction box. The lamp lights just before another storm arrives, and in Scoop's excitement, he accidentally yanks out the new cable and cuts the power. To finish the job, the Machines need the help of Wendy and Bob, who are stranded in the lighthouse because the tide came in. The Machines quickly assist Curtis in repairing his boat, and they rescue Bob and Wendy before the storm becomes too rough. The cable is reattached and power to the lighthouse is restored.
Bob and the team are building the Soft Play Café for Chef Tattie. Leo shows off his "mash-up" app, and Chef Tattie decides that Leo should DJ for the café's opening party the next day. Unconfident in his DJ abilities, Leo becomes distracted from his job and walks through spilled paint, trailing different colored footprints across the floor. Delighted by Leo's new "design," indecisive Chef Tattie decides to paint the disco room four different colors. Leo learns the dangers of multitasking and, in lieu of his DJing, Chef, Wendy and Curtis sing at the opening party.
Bob and the team are installing a satellite dish for the Spring City News Headquarters. On the build, however, Leo is distracted by the new fishing game on his cell phone. He doesn’t secure the dish to Lofty’s hook well enough and it crashes to the ground, causes havoc, and finally rolls into the river. Using his real-world fishing skills, Leo hooks the dish out of the water. The project is completed and the six o’clock news bulletin is broadcast on schedule, featuring coverage of the Spring City Rockets’ dance show.
The Spring City Sea Life Center will be powered by renewable energy and Bob and the team are building wind farm on the site to make it happen. Since Spring City will require more energy as it grows, Scoop ‘plans ahead’ and convinces Lofty to move the wind turbines closer together in order to fit more into the space. When tested, however, the team discovers that the wind turbines were placed too close—the blades clash and cannot be repaired. The team installs solar panels, along with the remaining wind turbines, to combine solar power and wind power for an energy-saving solution.
Bob and the team are building the Spring City Christmas display. Full of Christmas cheer, Lofty sparks an idea when he notices that Bob's home isn't decorated for the holiday. Lofty brings Bob's present to the site, but has to set it aside when given tasks to do. He sets the present down under the display's tree, and when he tries to retrieve it later, the tree crashes into the rest of the Christmas scene. Lofty covers the broken display by redesigning it with a snowflake theme, attracting enthusiastic townsfolk to experience the Christmas season. He lifts Bob's present, a star, and places it atop the tree.
The Spring City Clock Competition has chosen its winner—the Spring City Rockets! Bob and the team are commissioned to build their design, but plans go awry when the construction date is on Recycling Day. In a rush, Leo gathers the wrong box to bring to the Recycling Center. When clock materials and Wendy’s cell phone go missing, Leo and Wendy realize the mistake. Leo calls her phone and it rings from inside the Recycling Bay. They retrieve the box just in time to complete the clock. The clock’s metal figures emerge to sound the bells and the Spring City Rockets are delighted--Wendy crafted the figures to resemble the four of them!
Saffi has won a statue design competition and Bob and the team are turning her design into a water fountain for the shopping mall. Muck is chosen to deliver the statue and, in his excitement, accidently knocks the elephant statue into the wall and scrapes off its paint. In an effort to hide the statue, Muck damages it further and realizes that he must own up to his mistakes. Bob and the team work quickly to fix the statue and Muck returns to the site with a special find—Mr. Trunkers, Saffi’s lost toy the statue is modelled after.
Skye Sampson is hosting a beach motocross race and appoints Bob and the team to build the course. Not only is Bob creating the course, he plans to race on it, too. The Machines, aware of the excitement surrounding the race, are determined to hold a race of their own. Using the finished course, they hold an unofficial race that ultimately destroys the site. The team pulls together, works through the night, and the course is ready the next morning. Bob competes in the race and finishes second place to a mysterious masked biker—Wendy!
Bob and the team are renovating the hilltop theatre, where Mr. Bentley is directing rehearsal for his latest masterpiece, “A Pocketful of Pirates.” When Dizzy shows theatrical flair, Mr. Bentley allows her to become the assistant director while he runs an errand. Excited yet distracted, Dizzy cannot fully focus on either the build or the play. Her mix-ups create havoc, but Bob has a solution. The team builds an elevated wooden track over the mistakenly laid slow-drying cement so that the audience members can get to their seats. The theatre is performance-ready and Bob ends up performing, too, doing a “spectacul-ARRRRRR” job!
Bob and the team are creating a temporary city beach for Spring City’s summer season. Mr. Bentley notifies the team of his aspirations to win the “Blue Ribbon,” an award for the cleanest, safest beaches. The Machines are paranoid when they learn that the inspector could be disguised as anyone. In a panic, they cause a mess on the site. They desperately try to clean it, but as the real inspector approaches with Mr. Bentley, it appears they’ve run out of time. The Spring City Rockets swoop in and offer their help. Impressed with their community spirit, the inspector awards Spring City with the Blue Ribbon.
Bob and the team are at Fixham Castle, clearing a courtyard and restoring a bricked-up archway. When Scoop learns the story of “The Legend of the Silver Shield,” he becomes intent on finding the silver shield, said to be buried in the surrounding grounds. In Scoop’s search for the treasure, he digs too close to the wall, causing it to become unstable. The team repairs the wall and Wendy notices that the statue of Sir Roger is pointing at something. The team excitedly ventures to the area and Scoop digs up a stunning find—the Silver Shield! Bob returns it to the statue and the pieces shine beautifully.
Bob is building an ice cream kiosk at the beach. When a tired Scoop stays behind, he makes up reasons to radio Bob, urging him to return to the yard. When a real crisis occurs, Bob doesn’t believe it’s anything serious…until Scoop brings a burning bin to the beach. The bin falls onto the kiosk roof, but Scoop swiftly extinguishes the fire by pouring sand onto it.
Bob and the team are building a skate park for the Spring City Rockets, who plan to enter an online video competition for action sports. After Leo makes up stories about his masterful skateboarding abilities, he and Dizzy compete for the extra spot on the Rockets’ team. An inexperienced Leo almost collides with the Machines and causes Two-Tonne to deposit accidentally a cement into the skate park. The team rallies together and sculpts the cement into a new jump. Dizzy’s talent earns her a place in the Rockets’ video and they win the online competition.
Fixham Beach is hosting a sand sculpture competition. When Mayor Madison loses her ring, the partially-built sand creations are demolished in the search. The ring is not found so the teams rebuild their sculptures, but cover them up and take shelter in Chef Tattie’s restaurant when a storm approaches. After the storm passes, Leo finds Mayor Madison’s ring in the beach standpipe and Curtis and Leo win the sand sculpture competition. Bob admits that he can’t build everything, particularly sandcastles.
In order to make room for the new skyscraper, Bob and the team are demolishing an old factory. Lofty is fearful when they plan to use explosives to bring down the chimney. Scoop taunts him, causing loud noises to scare him. When scoop lets out a loud ‘KA-BOOM’ shout, Lofty accidently smashes the girder into the chimney, creating a hole that could cause the chimney to fall onto the street. The team patches the hole and Lofty prepares for the explosion. Afterward, he realizes that there was nothing to be afraid of, while Scoop cowers in fear.
It's Halloween, and Bob and the team are setting up the Spring City Halloween Festival. Lofty finds Halloween scary and becomes nervous when he's sent to collect a giant ghost decoration. Fear overcomes him and he believes the crate he's carrying contains a real ghost. The decoration rises out of its unlocked crate and flies across the site, causing mayhem. Lofty musters the courage to capture the flyaway ghost with his crane hook, overcoming his fear. He even creates a fake ghost to help Wendy trick Bob!
Bob and Lofty are going to construct the museum's new pyramid exhibition building. Lofty is excited that he gets to use his new claw attachment. Upon arriving at the site, they discover that Tiny has already built most of the pyramid for an archaeologist, Anish Bose, who wants to put his exhibits inside the central chamber. Lofty wants to finish up the work by himself but places a stone at the entrance of the pyramid by mistake, trapping Bob, Wendy, and Anish inside! Lofty realizes that his eagerness to do too much on his own caused the problem, and that working as a team with Tiny is much better.
While Bob and his team are building an underground car garage for Phillip at the Town Hall, Phillip sleeps in Bob's yard for the night with the rest of the machines. In the middle of the night, he accidentally scares an already intimidated Muck, who mistakes him for a ghost! In the commotion, the hydraulic jacks for the construction project are ruined. Muck comes up with an idea for how Bob and his team can get the garage finished before Mayor Snipe arrives.
When the new Town Hall alarm keeps going off, Dizzy and Lofty are respectively excited and horrified by Mr Bentley's suggestion that it could be a ghost setting it off. Bob and Wendy eventually find the real culprits - bats that Bob accidentally trapped inside the chimney when he was working on it. To make sure the bats don't get hurt by living in the chimney, the team decides to create a new home for the bats on the roof.
While clearing trash from Fixham Beach, Lofty collects all of the driftwood he can find. Scoop is baffled that Lofty thinks the driftwood is beautiful and tries to throw it all away. When Muck hauls the debris to the dump, Lofty spots a prize piece of wood, and grabs it, causing the trash to fall back into the water! With creative problem-solving and teamwork, Bob uses the driftwood to create a floating barrier in order to collect the flotsam and jetsam. Later they use the driftwood to decorate the path to the beach. Even Scoop is impressed.
For his college course, Leo films the team building a drive-thru at the Milkshake Bar. Scoop's desperation to be the star of Leo's film causes disruption and eventually a crash on the drive-thru lane! The drive-thru and film are ruined. Scoop learns that he must let others do their work-he stays off camera as Leo films the team fixing the drive-thru, showing everything that can happen on a build.
Bob, Wendy and the team set out to build a tire shed for Curtis. When Muck shoos Pilchard out of his way, she suddenly vanishes. Leo and the machines run around looking for Pilchard, desperate to find her before Bob finds out that she's disappeared. When Muck admits that he had some part in her disappearance, they all discover that the cat had been sound asleep in his dumper the whole time.
Roley is excited that Bob will be playing his saxophone with the town band as soon as the park bandstand has been renovated. Meanwhile, Leo is tidying up the warehouse at Bob's yard, but is distracted when he discovers he can make music using the leftover piping and old oil drums. When Roley accidentally rolls over and flattens the band's instruments, he is so upset that he rolls away to hide. Bob comes to Roley's rescue by suggesting they follow Leo's creative idea and use bits and pieces from the yard to make new instruments. Bob's 'Junk Band' is a great success and even Mayor Madison approves!
Tilly and Henry have asked Bob and the team to convert Fixham Castle into a spectacular wedding venue. When Scoop learns there will be a 'Best Man,' he volunteers to be 'Best Machine. ' But the job goes to his head as he tries to be the very best at everything, resulting in a disastrous wedding rehearsal. Scoop learns that he doesn't have to be the best at everything and that it is important to know your limits.
Bob is building the jumps for Henry Corner's cross-country equestrian competition. Muck thinks the idea of jumping over things sounds like fun. Determined to find out, Muck sneaks away to build his own jump. But when he tests it out, he gets stuck. Lofty comes to the rescue, and Bob suggests using Muck's jump to finish the cross-country course.
Bob and the team are working at the Zoo replacing Bella the elephant's enclosure to remind her of the wild. Muck and Scoop begin to prank each other, and Muck decides to hide inside the elephant house so he can jump out and surprise Scoop when Scoop passes by. But instead, Muck surprises poor Bella. Using ingenuity and roleplaying skills, Muck acts like an elephant and manages to calm the alarmed Bella down.
Phillip annoys Betsy by insinuating that his work driving Mayor Madison is more important than hers. But when he breaks down en route to Anish Bose’s book launch at Fixham Castle, Phillip must accept Betsy’s help. Later, Phillip’s quick thinking helps the Mayor to deliver the speech she’d left behind.
When Mayor Madison wants to save an old historic house that is dangerously close to a crumbling cliff, Bob and the team lift it onto Two-Tonne’s flatbed to take it to a new site. Mr. Bentley accompanies the convoy and, being a keen bird watcher, he spots a nest of very rare eggs by the side of the road. To avoid disturbing it, Two-Tonne decides to take a different route through the city, but he misjudges the height of the bridge and the house gets stuck. Luckily Bob has a solution! He lets the air out of Two Tonne’s tires so the vehicle becomes low enough to squeeze under the bridge and move to the new site.
It’s Wendy’s birthday! Bob has planned a surprise party at the yard, but Wendy keeps adding lights to the Spring City Rockets’ ice-skating show and won’t leave until she is finished. Trying to get Wendy to leave, Lofty accidentally ruins the light display. Bob quickly comes up with a new plan and brings the party to Wendy!
The centerpiece of Mayor Madison’s arctic-themed charity event to raise money for polar bears is an ice sculpture of a polar bear carved by Wendy. Scoop is horrified to discover that it will melt away by the end of the evening. He takes it away to find a cold place where it won’t melt, but by the time Bob and Wendy find him, it’s too late—the bear has turned into a puddle of water! Bob comforts Scoop while Wendy makes a brand new sculpture. This time she carves a splendid ice sculpture of Mayor Madison herself.
Bob is building an outdoor cinema in the park for the new Dash Lightning premiere. Scoop is inspired to become a superhero, dubbing himself “Super Scoop” and charges off in search of rescues. None of his rescues work and he ends up driving through the cinema screen – in need of rescuing himself! However, when Dash becomes stranded on the way to the premiere, Super Scoop goes to the rescue and personally escorts the movie star to the big event.
While erecting a Gingerbread House display at the plaza, Muck obsessively takes on the role of a Christmas elf – zipping around helping make the season special. He tries building a toy go-kart, decorating a Christmas tree, and even delivering presents. Unfortunately, his efforts don’t seem to be as helpful as he intended. Muck realizes that he is most useful when he helps with things that he is good at doing and assists Bob by collecting supplies for the display. Meanwhile, Wendy and Bob exchange hand-made Christmas cards.
Dizzy is thrilled to be working on the new butterfly house and wishes an orange butterfly would land on her. The butterfly pupae arrive and Dizzy is so excited that she doesn’t realize that one has fallen into her mixing drum. When she goes outside, the butterfly hatches, flying to the top edge of her drum. Dizzy has to remain still and calm in order to move the butterfly safely back into the habitat. Once inside, she is happy to discover that all of the butterflies are flying around – and landing on her!
A very excited Mr. Bentley gets Bob and the team to set up Fixham's big Christmas party, but he insists on hanging so many lights that they cause a power failure! Unable to use the square, Bob offers to relocate the event to his yard for a smaller, but just as enjoyable, party.
While Bob and the team complete work on a dinosaur-themed rollercoaster at the Dino Park, Lofty and Dizzy think they’ve broken a precious dinosaur egg – and that a baby dinosaur is now on the loose! They embark on a hunt, which ends in Lofty crashing through the coaster tracks while Leo takes a test run. Wendy steps on the brakes, stopping the zooming car and saves Leo! The machines discover that the egg is not real, but part of the exhibit, and what they thought was a baby dinosaur was really Pilchard.
The team is at the stadium construction site installing sections of concrete onto the steelwork. Lofty is excited to be working with Tiny and wants to impress him. Lofty doesn’t admit to finding the concrete difficult to lift and he drops a section in front of the access way, trapping everybody inside the stadium. With some creative problem solving and collaboration, the team completes the job in time!
Bob is building a radio telescope for Mei at the Observatory. Mei wants to test it by contacting her twin sister Lin on an orbiting space station. Lofty wants to make sure nothing damages the telescope, but ends up breaking it himself! Lofty offers to use his crane arm to position the telescope's dish and they are able to contact Lin.
When Bob rewards the machines with stars for good work, Muck has the fewest. His efforts to earn more put the new restaurant’s waiting area in jeopardy. The team works together to finish the job and everyone earns more stars for doing what they do best.
Flame the horse causes chaos in the orchard, leaving Muck and Bob with a load of bad apples.
Bob and the team are repairing a sinkhole on a busy road near the Flying Saucepan Restaurant. Muck wants to get a closer look but Bob gives him the role of safety officer on the other side of a safety barrier. When Bob is away, Muck sneaks a closer look and the road gives way under him. Bob tells Muck to stay still as Lofty pulls Muck back up to safety and the team is able to repair the road.
As a result of Bob's office being so messy he accidentally gives Mr Bentley the plans for the new giraffe house instead of the plans for his new garden shed!
When a large box is delivered while Bob and the team are installing vertical steels to form the basement of Spring City’s new skyscraper, Scoop promptly assumes it’s the surprise present he knows Wendy plans to give Bob for his birthday. Scoop’s efforts to hide the box from Bob soon cause the build to grind to halt. Scoop recognizes his mistake and returns the missing package. The team uses the missing drill that’s inside to quickly finish the job.
When Bob and team are constructing a bank safe in the basement of a partially built skyscraper, Dizzy gets locked inside and she is the only one who knows the door code!
Scoop takes Pilchard to work at the Zoo. But Pilchard won't follow commands and ends up stranded in the bears' enclosure!
When Bob replaces the jetties at the marina, Stretch has to do the digging. Scoop wants to dig too, but in trying to keep up with Stretch, he slides about and gets stuck!
Tread takes on more work than he can handle and ends up delivering all the wrong things to all the wrong people.
When Shifter goes off on his own and gets stuck, Lofty, Scoop and Muck rescue him using the skills they've been working on during a training day with Bob.
Muck is given the stinky task of delivering manure. He is so mortified by the stench that he tries to avoid crossing anyone's path and delays the build in the process.
Tread is trapped by an avalanche and Stretch is the only machine able to dig him out. But without snow chains, Tread still can't move.
While Bob and his team are building hot dog stands outside the stadium, Scoop mistakes friendly rivalry for fierce competition and gets carried away in the process.
When Bob and the team set about building new garages in the backyard, Shifter wrongly assumes one of them is for him.
Unaware that the film set Bob is building is designed to fall down as part of a film stunt, safety conscious Leo spots what he thinks is a problem and fixes it.
Bob puts Leo in charge of overseeing the building of a maze on the grounds of Fixham Castle while he and Wendy refurbish the interior. Scoop encourages Leo to make the maze more difficult and to add mirrors to it, but when the vehicles test it out they all get lost!
Mayor Madison announces that Bob will be the Grand Marshal at the annual parade. He is to ride on a float through the town, so Scoop, Muck and Lofty compete to win the honour. However, they soon discover that each needs the others to complete their build and that they need to work as a team.
After Leo builds a little robotic vehicle to enter in a robo-racing competition, Muck secretly takes 'Whizzer' with him on a build, despite being told not to. When Whizzer goes haywire because it still contains bugs, Muck does his best to solve the problem by himself.
Muck feels terrible when he accidentally collapses Bob's old shed. To make him feel better, while Bob is away getting braces for the rebuild, Scoop recalls how he first met Bob and helped him build it - and the mistakes that the young Bob made along the way. Includes an appearance by Bob's father.
Dizzy is fascinated by the way that the new traffic lights direct the movement of cars. But when she tries directing the team instead of doing her job, all the traffic-light poles fall down, causing the biggest traffic jam in Spring City history!
Scoop meets a bobcat cub, who has become separated from his family by a busy road. Bob and the team build a wildlife corridor so that animals can cross safely, but they have to build it again when Scoop is too impatient to wait for the cement to dry.
Bob and the team are working on a new spiral ramp to make the drive to a bird-watchers' park more direct. Eager to become a champion race car, Scoop tries it out before it is completed, creating chaos and delaying its completion.
The team are building an aviary at the zoo when Scoop hears one of the birds asking Bob to open the cage. He doesn't realise that parrots are just mimics, with the result that he releases the whole flock. Can Bob figure out a way to lure them all back inside?
Bob and the team are adding a wing to the Spring City elementary school, which means that the playground has to be downsized. Saffi asks Lofty to save the elephant ride, but he doesn't tell Bob and causes trouble when he hides it on the roof.
While Bob is away tracking down Cooper, a runaway dog, Lofty and Leo's overcompetitiveness leads to them accidentally destroying the obstacle training course for rescue dogs they are meant to be building.
Lofty is so excited that Leo is returning from his holiday that he steps onto the newly laid runway at the airport and gets stuck in the cement, just as the plane is ready to land.
While building a wind farm, Scoop becomes jealous when Ace pays more attention to newbie Shifter, who keeps making mistakes. He decides to make mistakes too - with disastrous results.
After staying up late watching Ace movies, Muck falls asleep and ends up on a part of a floating bridge that the team are building across the river - and it's heading straight for the falls!
