She underwent a gastric bypass, which resulted in her shedding over 35 stone but which has also left the 43-year-old with masses of excess skin hanging from her tiny frame. She is now consulting leading surgeon Peter Arnstein to see whether he can perform an operation to remove it. In the USA, we meet 46-year-old Apryl Brown, who wanted silicone injections to improve the shape of her buttocks. She opted to have them done on the blackmarket, a decision she would live to regret. She was injected with bathroom sealant, which caused a massive infection that resulted in her losing her arms and legs. Shenise Farrell wanted a permanent change of eye colour. As the procedure is not licensed in Europe, she took a risk and decided to have the surgery done in Panama, paying £8,000 for the privilege. Unfortunately, the procedure went horribly wrong and 31-year-old Shenise arrived home technically blind. Can leading ophthalmic surgeon Ali Mearza save her sight?
