Built for use during the opening day of the Battle of the Somme, the bloodiest clash of World War One, this 60 foot weapon of terror fired a blast of flaming oil over 100 yards long. For the first time in almost a century, this mechanical dragon will roar once more.
With this key piece of the projector found, the team starts the second phase of the project. With the help of the Royal Engineers, they are going to try and build a fire a full-scale replica of the flame projector. To kick-start the rebuild, Tony and Peter travel to Chatham, UK, home of the Royal Engineers.
