تدور أحداث المسلسل حول رجل فقير يريد الحصول على ثروة، فيحلم في يوم من الأيام أنه عثر على كنز، ويتغير وضعه الإجتماعي كلية، فيصبح لديه أمل كبير أنه سيجد يوم من الأيام هذا الكنز، ليذهب كل يوم في الليل إلى المناطق الخالية من السكان ويبدأ بالحفر وعندما يطلع النهار، حيث يعود للبيت متعبًا، وتتصاعد الأحداث.
