Episode CCP1 was the first pilot episode of Calendar Countdown which was never transmitted, but it did feature Series 1 contestants Joyce Cansfield and Christine Jones, as well as a further contestant, Alec Buchanan. The next contestant would help Ted Moult in Dictionary Corner. Christine Jones helped Ted Moult during the match between Joyce Cansfield and Alec Buchanan. The game was six rounds. After Alec Buchanan left, Ian Penny helped out in Dictionary Corner.
