Ocean’s 11 is a great franchise. But at the same time it’s mostly not a very good franchise especially when you take into consideration the 1960’s film on which everything is based. Even if Ocean’s 8 is the worst film the original Ocean’s 11 is still the worst film.

Season 2025

  • S2025E01 Captain America: The First Avenger

    • January 30, 2025

We're back with the first Caravan Of Garbage for 2025, Captain America: The First Avenger. In the lead up to Brave New World we take a look back at the first in the trilogy and the introduction of Chris Evan's portrayal of Steve Rogers. Acting as a prequel in the MCU timeline it takes us back to his battles with the Red Skull and Hydra during the events of World War II. Directed by The Rocketeer's Joe Johnston and also starring Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes and Stanley Tucci as Dr. Abraham Erskine it managed to lay the groundwork for future installments on top of being an absolultely cracking adventure movie in its own right. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review! Check out bigsandwich.co for early videos, bonus podcasts, movie commentaries and video game let's plays

  • S2025E02 Captain America: The Winter Soldier

    • February 6, 2025

We've reached what many consider to be the pinnacle of the MCU, 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Taking place after the events of The Avengers we again see Steve Rogers adjusting to the modern world and delves into the grey area surrounding his work in the modern day. Also Hydra is back! And a mysterious assassin wearing a mask with a metal arm who may have ties to Captain America'a past! Also Nick Fury does some really cool stuff for what is probably the last time. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E03 Captain America: Civil War

    • February 13, 2025

Captain America is back and this time he wants to beat up Iron Man! In wrapping up our look at the Steve Rogers Captain America trilogy we take a look at the biggest entry, Civil War. After Tony Stark again begins to feel bad about being a bad bloke he backs the General Ross drafted Sokovia Accords which means more regulations for any enhanced beings. This acts as the introduction of both Spider-Man and Black Panther and divides The Avengers into two distinct teams who beat each other up in an airport among other physical activities.

  • S2025E04 Daredevil (2003)

    • February 20, 2025

Daredevil 2003 came in the a wave of Marvel comic book success stories like Blade, Spider-Man and X-Men. Ben Affleck's Matt Murdoch however didn't manage to reach those same heights despite being a pretty solid action movie. For the time. How could it not with Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin, Colin Farrell in his first comic book villain role as Bullseye and Jennifer Garner as Elektra who recently returned in Deadpool & Wolverine. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E05 Elektra

    • February 27, 2025

Daredevil may not have gotten the sequel it probably I guess deserved but it did get a spin-off. ELEKTRA. 2005. Brought back to life using magic or a wish or something after being killed in Daredevil, Jennifer Garner returns to the role where this time she's an assassin who can sometimes see the future sometimes. This time she has to face The Hand and a bunch of henchpeople who are probably mutants including a man who's tattoo's come to life and also his name is Tattoo. All in all it's not very good. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2025E06 The Punisher (1989)

    • March 6, 2025

The first cinematic adaptation of The Punisher happened to be a little known action film from the late 80's staring Dolph Lundgren. Sure he was missing the signature white skull, black jumpsuit and white boots (disgraceful ommission) but there's a lot of core elements that have held up pretty well despite the limations of the era. SO COME WITH US as we journey through all the films in the Punisher's repertoire and thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E07 The Punisher (2004)

    • March 14, 2025

In 2004 Marvel took another shot at making a Punisher live action adaptation after the success of Spider-Man, X-Men & Daredevil (I guess?), the Thomas Jane in the lead role. Also acting as his Year One original story it pits him against John Travolta and a family of mobsters who had his entire extended family un-alived (that's for YouTube censorship) after Frank Castle acted out a truely bizarre undercover pantomime drug deal. It's fairly melodramatic and drawn out but it does boast one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E08 Punisher: War Zone

    • March 20, 2025

It's time for peak The Punsiher everyone. In 2008 under the Marvel Knights brand Lionsgate attempted another Punisher rebooted with Ray Stevenson stepping into the role of Frank Castle. It wasn't recieved well at the time nor did it perform well at the box office despite, in hindsight, it being an incredible fun and gory time at the movies. Director Lexi Alexander managed to craft what feels like the truest on screen adaptation of the character we've ever seen and even manages to include the likes of Jigsaw, with a suitably unhinged performance from Dominic West. Great stuff. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E09 Double Dragon The Movie

    • March 27, 2025

With the release of both The Minecraft movie and The Last of Us Season 2 we thought we'd revist some classic video game adaptations. So we're kicking things off with 1994's Double Dragon! A bad movie that came out at the wrong time. Martial arts, action set pieces, humor, this has all of that but none of it is very good. Thanks for checking out our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E10 Street Fighter The Movie

    • April 3, 2025

In 1994 the Street Fighter name was riding high off the back of Street Fighter II, an arcade classic. This meant it was the perfect time to release a movie adaptation and who better to play the role of Guile than Jean-Claude Van Damme at the height of his fame. Much maligned at the time it's become somewhat of a cult classic despite being more GI Joe than Street Fighter. But at least some of the actors look like some of the video game characters. Plus, it has Australia's own Kylie Minogue and an incredible performance from Raul Julia. Thanks for watching our Caravan of Garbage review.

  • S2025E11 Wing Commander The Movie

    • April 11, 2025

Wing Commander is a bad movie that came out in 1999. Sure it's based on a much beloved computer game series (that features the likes of Mark Hamill) and stars both Freddie Prinze Jr and Matthew Lillard. Plus it was directed by Chris Roberts who not only created the original series but also the upcoming Star Citizen video game which is going to change the way you do video games. All in all though it was a horrible experience. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review Check out bigsandwich.co for early videos, bonus podcasts, movie commentaries and video game let's plays

  • S2025E12 Uncharted

    • April 18, 2025

By popular demand we've been forced into covering Uncharted 2021, an adaptation of some of the Naughty Dog video game series. Not the good one (The Last Of Us on HBO) but Uncharted 2021, a movie that mostly covers some of the ground seen in parts 3 and 4. With Tom Holland taking on the role as a young Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg playing that much beloved character, himself, this globe trotting adventure sets the bar for movies that feel like they come out in 2014. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E13 The Bourne Identity

    • April 24, 2025

Oh my goodness it's Jason Bourne. That's right we're taking a look at all of the movies in the Jason Bourne-universe. Beginning with the Doug Liman directed Matt Damon starring action-espionage thriller The Bourne Identity. Set against a European backgrop and also featuring the likes of Franka Potente, Julia Stiles, Brian Cox, Clive Owen and Chris Cooper the story follows a man whom after beig dredged out of the ocean with no memory must follow a series of clues to discover the truth behind his past. And it turns out he's an assassin or whatever. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E14 The Bourne Supremacy

    • May 1, 2025

Matt Damon as Jason Bourne is back in the first of many sequels! This time he has to try and remember all of his memories by tracking down another old man who made him do a Treadstone. It's got action! A car chase! More things from the first movie! It also has Paul Greengrass taking over directorial duties with a script sort of from Andor's Tony Gilroy. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E15 The Bourne Ultimatum

    • May 8, 2025

We've reached the end of the road for Jason Bourne, wrapping up the Matt Damon led trilogy where everything finally falls into place. Old white guys at Treadstone LOOK OUT because Jason Bourne is going to come to your work when you're not there and you'll be like "hey man what the hell". Anyways be sure to come back next week and also the week after for the continuing adventures of Jason Bourne and his best friend Aaron Cross

  • S2025E16 The Bourne Legacy

    • May 15, 2025

The Bourne franchise was as good as finished upon the conclusion of 2007's The Bourne Ultimatum. But franchises never truly die if there's profitablity at stake! So in 2012 Tony Gilroy of Andor fame returned to the series this time as director for The Bourne Legacy! Jeremy Renner steps into the universe as Adjacent Bourne aka Aaron Cross, a Blackbriar super soldier agent enhanced with pharmaceuticals forced to go on the ran because Jason Bourne can't stop running around for just a god damn minute. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E17 Jason Bourne

    • May 22, 2025

Jason Bourne is back! And this time he's kinda old but not like super old but for sure older than the previous time we saw him. A new threat has Jason Bourne emerge from hiding and it's Facebook plus Iron Hand plus Tommy Lee Jones plus Vincent Cassel! And then the regular stuff resumes, a bunch of running around and car chases and big kicks. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review and journeying with us through the Jason Bourne universe

  • S2025E18 Congo

    • May 29, 2025

Michael Crichton is probably most famous for penning the novel that would go on to became 1993's Jurassic Park and the subsequent Park/World sequels. And in light of that a whole lot of different attempts have been made to adapt his work some before, like Westworld and some after like Westworld. Over the next three weeks we're going to take a look at some of the lesser known and lesser successful adaptations, starting with 1995's Congo. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review.

  • S2025E19 Sphere

    • June 5, 2025

Ever heard of Jurassic Park? Michael Crichton’s greatest adaptation! Well get ready for another adaptation that’s not Congo, Sphere. A movie about aliens and time travel and Sphere’s and nightmares. Starring a young…ish Samuel L Jackson, Dustin Hoffman and Sharon Stone it sank like a bloody stone at the box office due to poor reception and general disinterest in its blend of sci-fi and horror. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2025E20 Timeline

    • June 12, 2025

It's Timeline time everyone! Because we're continuing our look at Michael Crichton's movie adaptations that arn't Jurassic Park. The year is 2003, Richard Donner (director of Superman: The Movie) decided to gather up Paul Walker, Gerry Butler, Frances O'Connor and Billy Connolly to do a big time travel to the year 1357 in order to run around a bit and cause of ruckus. Not the best Michael Crichton adaptation, some would even consider it the worst. And maybe it is. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2025E21 13th Warrior

    • June 19, 2025

Just when we thought we was out, they pull us back in. To talk about Michael Crichton movies! This week it's John McTiernan's (director of Die Hard, The Hunt for Red October, Predator) The 13th Warrior. Considered one of the biggest box office bombs of all time this Antonio Banderas action flick is certainly not up there with McTiernan's best but it's certainly not...the worst movie. Mason doesn't like it though if that means anything to you. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2025E22 Adventures of Superman

    • June 26, 2025

2025 is quickly becomming the year of Superman with the DCU reboot courtesy of James Gunn. So over the next three weeks we're going to take a look at THREE classic Superman TV shows, starting with Adventures of Superman from 1952 starring George Reeves. It's a hell of a show propelled the character to new heights and lead to the increased populatiry of both Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane before tragically concluding with the passing of it's lead actor after six seasons. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E23 Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

    • July 3, 2025

The Superman extraveganzy bonanza continues with a look at Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman! Starting in 1993 and running for four seasons it achieved huge ratings over the majority of it's time before its eventual cancellation. Starring Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain and bringing sci-fi, romance and adventure to the small screen it's fondly remembered for a bunch of reasons some of which are almost certainly in this video. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E24 Smallville

    • July 10, 2025

  • S2025E25 Timecop

    • July 17, 2025

  • S2025E26 Barb Wire

    • July 24, 2025

We're back with the next installment of our look at Comic Book Movies that people might not know are comic book movies! This week, the Pamela Anderson 1996 action vehicle Barb Wire. Based on the comic of the same name published under Dark Horse and Comics Greatest World it sees Barbara "The Wire" Kopetski facing a distopian nightmare future in the far flung future of 2017. And for a movie that isn't great it sure has it all. Fights! Motor bikes! Explosions! An extended stripping scene whilst Pamela Anderson gets hosed down for a really long time! What a time to be alive. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E27 Bulletproof Monk

    • July 31, 2025

It's time for another look at a comic book movie that you might not think is a comic book movie! We're tackling Bulletproof Monk from 2003, the Chow Yun-fat and Sean William Scott lead action comedy that we discover is completely servicable and forgettable as a movie about a magic scroll that gives you some magic. The fight scenes are okay! The cast chemistry is okay! And the story is okay! What more could you want from a movie nobody has seen or ever talked about. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E28 Oblivion

    • August 7, 2025

It's our final entry in our 'That's a comic book movie?!?' series! And we're taking a look at an entry that's barely an entry, 2013's Oblivion. This is the first pairing of Tom Cruise and Joseph Kosinski who'd later reteam in the much more successful Top Gun: Maverick in 2022. Set in the apocalyptic future of 2077, there's a big triangle in the sky telling Tom Cruise what to do which you'd think would be fine but it might be bad actually. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E29 Prometheus

    • August 14, 2025

The Alien franchise was flagging after the middling reception of the previous few entries including a crossover with the Predator franchise. In an effort to bring back both the prestige of Alien and Aliens plus the fan base Ridley Scott returned to the series with Prometheus. Set up as a prequel of sorts with echo's of future entries it assembled a steller cast, the help of Lost's Damon Lindelof and a huge budget. To this day it sits as an odd entry to failed to deliever on its promise but not without it's high points. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E30 Alien: Covenant

    • August 21, 2025

If there's one this 2012's Prometheus needed, it's some explanations for what the hell just happened. And if there's one other thing it needed was to be exactly like the movies Alien and Aliens. The solution to both ended up being the 2017 sequel/prequel Alien: Covenant. Doing away with the previous lead character Elizabeth Shawit follows a new crew of expendable and stupid human beings who run afoul of Michael Fassbender's David along with the Xenomorph. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2025E31 Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief

    • August 28, 2025

In the midst of Harry Potter fever every studio was looking for their own potential young adult franchise to bring to the big screen. In 2010 20th Century Fox settled on Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, beginning with Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. They even brought on board Christopher Columbus, the director of the first two Harry Potter movies. Sadly the magic wasn't replicated and what we got was a muddled half hearted attempt of an adaptation that fell short in almost every way minus the incredible cast of barely trying known names. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E32 Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters

    • September 4, 2025

To the surprise of most, Percy Jackson 2010 actually got a sequel in 2013's in Sea of Monsters. Sure the originally director didn't come back or a bunch of the original actors including horse Pierce Brosnan but the core trio of Percy, Percy's friend and Percy's another friend. This time they're on a quest for the Golden Fleece which they're going to use to heal a tree that makes a forcefield that used to be a girl. And Luke's back if you remember him! Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E33 Van Helsing

    • September 11, 2025

In 2004 Universal attempted the impossible, recreate the success of The Mummy reboot from 1999 using the classic monsters of old. At it turns out that was impossible and would continue to be so until The Invisible Man in 2020. Over the next four weeks we're going to take a look at a series of movies that each tried to start their own Dark Universe incorporating classic movie monsters. This week it's Van Helsing from 2004 starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale which pits Gabriel Van Hesling against a really bizarre version of Dracula. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E34 The Wolfman

    • September 18, 2025

In 2010 Universal took another step towards rebooting the Dark Universe with a straight shot at a remake of the 1941 classic The Wolf Man starring Lon Chaney Jr. This time starring Benecio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving and with the late addition direction of Joe Johnston it does manage to capture some of the magic of a classic monster movie. But also it's not that good even though Mason liked it. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2025E35 Dracula Untold

    • September 25, 2025

We've all been having the best time revisiting different failures within the Dark Universe. This week it's Dracula Untold, a thinly veiled attempt to turn Dracula into a comic book action hero. Which is weird because Dracula already exists in both the Marvel and DC Universes. Anyhoo Luke Evans stars as Vlad The Impaler, a kind and gentle family man who just wants to forget the time he literally impalled 1000 people. BUT THEN an man from his past returns to get all the boys and Vlad's like "NO WAY" and he turns into a Dracula. Other things happen but that's the main thrust of it. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E36 The Mummy 2017

    • October 2, 2025

Like The Mummy 2017, everything we've been covering up to this point has lead us here. The Dark Universe has had its fair share of failures but none quite as spectacular as the 2017 reboot/sequel/franchise launching Tom Cruise vehicle The Mummy. With Universal pumping nearly 200 million dollars into the budget including a brand new logo and the reveal of it's upcoming film slate in a hilarious promo photo featuring the likes of Javier Bardem and Johnny Depp this outing was nothing but an unmitigated disaster. And thats's why we love it. Not the movie but all the stuff around it. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E37 Tron

    • October 7, 2025

It's that time again. When Disney decides it's time to wring more money out of the Tron franchise with the release of Tron: Ares. So to celebrate (????) we're releasing two Caravan Of Garbages this week with this, original classic Tron 1982 and then Tron: Legacy. And boy does original Tron have a lot going on. Jeff Bridges. Ground breaking special effects. Computers. Glowing Pyjamas. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E38 Tron: Legacy

    • October 10, 2025

The trontent (Tron content) train trontinues (Tron continues) on Tron week! This time we're looking at the culmination off all good things Tron in 2010's Tron: Legacy. Jeff Bridges returns to the duel roles of Kevin Flynn and Clu in a far more visually appealing and dynamic legacy sequel to the 1982 original. And it has all the Tron stuff including light cycle battles, throwing a frisbee, running about and also Tron the guy called Tron. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E39 Predator

    • October 23, 2025

Over the next four weeks we'll be tackling the first four movies in the Predator franchise, starting with the 1987 original starring Arnold Schwarzenegger...PREDATOR IS THE ABSOLUTE PEAK OF 80S ACTION AND SCI-FI. THE PERFECT STORM OF DIRECTION, WRITING, CAST, CREATURE DESIGN, MUSCLES, MUD, FUN, LASERS, EXPLOSIONS, BEING INVISIBLE AND MORE. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E40 Predator 2

    • October 30, 2025

With the massive success of the first film and massive amounts of franchise potential a sequel to the original Predator, Predator 2 released in 1990 was inevitable. Despite lacking some key elements from the first, Arnold Schwarzenegger and a jungle it does mix things up with the inclusion of Danny Glover, an LA in the midst of a heat/crime wave and a new and even more dangerous Predator. It's a fun ride if you arn't expecting exactly the same thing and also like Gary Busey. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garage review

  • S2025E41 Predators

    • November 7, 2025

After one sequel in 1990 and two lackluster Alien VS Predator movies Predators took the franchise back to its roots in 2010. We get the return of a rag tag group of lunatics, a jungle setting, a muddy showdown but also some additional elements that elevate this movie beyond what had been done in previous sequels. It's just a shame we never got an actual follow up to what is considered by many to be a movie that I, Mr Sunday Movies, like very much. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E42 The Predator

    • November 13, 2025

We've reached the end of the 20th Century Fox era of Predator movies, right before the Disney purchase in 2019. This particular entry had a lot going for it, the return of director Shane Black to the franchise, an R rating, solid cast, big budget and yet it's regarded as probably the worst movie in the franchise with the inclusion of a giant nine feet tall Predator and movie Autism as a superpower. Thanks for coming with us on this particular journey and thanks for watching this particular Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E43 Biggest Disney Bombs: The Sorcerer's Apprentice

    • November 20, 2025

Modern Disney is in a very precarious situation, their previously successful propeties like Marvel and Star Wars arn't landing and the newer ideas Wish and Elio arn't making any impact. This isn't new for Disney however, they've always had periods like this and massive bombs and to celebrate that over the next few weeks we're going to look at four MASSIVE live action disasters. Starting with 2010's The Sorceror's Apprentice. Nick Cage. Magic. Uh. A big bird. I've already forgotten but in the video I haven't forgotten but that was a different time to when I recorded now

  • S2025E44 Biggest Disney Bombs: John Carter

    • November 27, 2025

Modern Disney is in a very precarious situation, their previously successful propeties like Marvel and Star Wars arn't landing and the newer ideas Wish and Elio arn't making any impact. • S2025E45 Biggest Disney Bombs: The Lone Ranger

    • December 4, 2025

In 2013 Disney were still looking for the next Pirates of the Caribbean so they thought, alright fine. Let's again get Johnny Depp in a dumb hat and have him run about balancing on stuff to a Hans Zimmer score in a movie directed by Gore Verbinski. Oh and I guess Armie Hammer can be there also. The result was The Lone Ranger a movie with a couple of cancelled guys and some spectacular action sequences. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2025E46 Tomorrowland

    • December 11, 2025

  • S2025E47 Clash of The Titans

    • December 18, 2025

In 2010 two things were big. 3D films and Sam Worthington, both a result of Avatar from 2009. And whilst that franchise continues on Clash of the Titans (which incorporates both) acts as a time capsule of that era of film making. Also acting as a reboot of the 1981 Ray Harryhausen original movie it pits Perseus, the son of Liam Neeson's Zeus, against the Gods of Olympus including Ralph Finnes Hades who is threatening to release the Kraken on the ever increasingly disgruntled mortals of Greece. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2025E48 Wrath of The Titans

    • December 26, 2025

Two years after the success of the Warner Brothers Clash of the Titans reboot Sam Worthington returned to the role of Perseus for WRATH of the Titans. This time around Zeus and Hades have to content with the fact they no longer posess the power they once had in addition to Ares the God of War releasing Kronos from the underworld. And that's pretty bad because he's a big walking volcano. Thanks for watching our final Caravan of Garbage review for the year and all the support you've shown in 2025

Season 2026

  • S2026E01 Star Wars

    • February 5, 2026

To kick off Caravan Of Garbage in 2026 we've decided to celebrate the release of Star Wars' 49th anniversary. We're talking the original movie as it was first shown in May of 1977 with none of the Special Edition tweaks or even the addition of the title A New Hope which was added four years later. We're looking at the miracle of the movie that started it all, George Lucas' vision brought to life with the music of John Williams, special effects by ILM and the relatively unknown trio of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. Thanks for watching our Review

  • S2026E02 The Empire Strikes Back

    • February 12, 2026

It's time to talk what many still consider the pinacle of Star Wars media, The Empire Strikes Back. Released three years after the first movie in 1980 it also came at a time when sequels were almost always inferior to the original. With the original trio of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia returning and George Lucas not directing but putting it all on the line to make this happen Empire was a massive success with it's darker nature and twist ending. And that green puppet man. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E03 Return of The Jedi

    • February 19, 2026

The anticipation for what was to be the final Star Wars film, Revenge/Return of the Jedi was at an absolute boiling point in 1983. What was to become of Han Solo? Would Luke Skywalker defeat Darth Vader and turn from the dark side? Will Princess Leia kill a giant peverted slug in a gold bikini? These questions and more were wrapped up at the end of the original trilogy which brings the Emperor of the Galaxy to the forefront of story now with a second and even bigger Death Star. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review on George Lucas' original trilogy and what some people consider to be the last true Star Wars experience

  • S2026E04 Sherlock Holmes

    • February 26, 2026

Like Batman, Sherlock adaptations are always and forever. And now that a new Young Sherlock series has debut in 2026 it's time to take a look back at the Guy Richie series beginning in 2009. Starring Robert Downey Jr hot off his return to hollywood as Iron Man in 08' and Jude Law this strips things back to basics whilst modernizing other elements (mostly the punching and hats). Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E05 Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

    • March 5, 2026

Sherlock Holmes is back and this time it's A Game of Shadows! In this highly anticipated 2011 sequel we seen Robert Downey Jr's and Jude Law return as both Holmes and Watson to take on the criminal mastermind Professor James Moriarty who has a dastardly plan to do a big World War I but early. There's drinking, dancing, explosions, mind chess, mind fights, falling off things and more! Thanks for watching our Caravan of Garbage review Check out bigsandwich.co for early videos, bonus podcasts, movie commentaries and video game let's plays

  • S2026E06 The Last Starfighter

    • March 12, 2026

Stop what you're doing everyone. It's time to continue our look at videos about video games that aren't actually based on video games. And you might be wondering what the movie Serenity for 2019 has to do with video games? It seems like some kind of beach side noir murder mystery starring a cigarette smoking Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway. And yes that is true but there's also a deeper layer of story to this movie that has to be seen to be believed. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review.

  • S2026E07 Gamer

    • March 19, 2026

It's time for another look at a movie about and featuring video games but not actually based on a video game. This time it's 2009's Gamer starring Gerard Butler, Logan Lerman, Michael C Hall and directed by Crank duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Set in the far distant future of 2034 in a world where the game Slayers (an online third person shooter) uses real life death-row prisoners in a real life murder arena controlled by players safely at home. In many ways it's ahead of it's time and in many other ways it has aged horrible. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E08 Serenity

    • March 26, 2026

Stop what you're doing everyone. It's time to continue our look at videos about video games that aren't actually based on video games. And you might be wondering what the movie Serenity for 2019 has to do with video games? • S2026E09 Ready Player One

    • April 2, 2026

In our final entry in our "movies about video games that aren't based on video games" we take a look at the be all and end all entry defined by those very specific parametres, 2018's Ready Player One. In a future bogged down in nostelgia to the detriment of a crumbling society it's up to a group of plucky internet savy individuals to unlock the mystery of the Oasis, a Virtual Reality space where your wildest dreams can come true. If your wildiest dreams are like, walking around and Batman is there or the Delorian or whatever. Probably the most unusual choice for Steven Spielberg to direct but hey, he certainly threw a lot of stuff in it. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E10 War of The Worlds

    • April 9, 2026

ALIENS ARE REAL. I mean, statistically the chances of there being life in an ever expanding universe is pretty much a lock. And to celebrate that and the return of Steven Spielberg to making an alien movie with Disclosure Day in 2026 we're going to take a look at three adaptations of the War of the Worlds, starting with the 1953 classic. An absolute astounding achievement in model work, design, alien monster suits, explosions and guys being stoic then running around for a bit. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E11 War of the Worlds (2005)

    • April 16, 2026

Aliens continue to be real on our journey through three very distinct War of the Worlds adaptations. This week it's the second collaboration between Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise after Minority Report, War of the Worlds 2005. Interesting premise and time, post 9/11, Tom Cruise in his weirdest (publicially) era and a director who'd made two exceptional extra terrestrial propeties prior to this. This should be fantastic! And yet...Anyhow thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E12 War of the Worlds (2025)

    • April 23, 2026

All good things must come to an end, like for example our War of the Worlds retrospective. But at lease we're going out on the lowest of the lows, the 2025 but filmed in 2020 Ice Cube "screenlife" adaptation. Considered by many to be one of the worst movies ever made with such a bizarre and terrible execution it's kind of hard to stay focused on one thing at a time when talking about it. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review!

  • S2026E13 X-Men

    • April 30, 2026

Cast your mind back to the year 2000. Okay great. And now think about the movie X-Men which introduced the world to the modern superhero movie with the likes of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Patrick Stewarts a bald guy, Ian McKellen as Magnet and Halle Berry as a much underused Storm. And with the likes of James Marsden coming back as Cyclops for Avengers: Doomsday in 2026 this decades old Marvel franchise has never been more relevant. And then there's the Bryan Singer of it all. YUCK. Anyways thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E14 X2: X-Men United

    • May 8, 2026

By 2003 superhero movies were well back in vogue. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man from 2002 had become a massive hit, a serious Batman reboot was in the works and of course we got the return of Bryan Singer's (yuck) X-Men franchise with X2: X-Men United. All your favourites are back! Storm, Cyclops, Ice Boy, Rogue, Magnet, Wheels, Gene Grey, all in support of whatever Hugh Jackman's Wolverine wants to do.

  • S2026E15 X-Men: The Last Stand REDUX

    • May 10, 2026

The only logical solution to wrap up our look at the original X-Men trilogy is a updated re-release of our Caravan Of Garbage review from 2019. Sure Bryan Singer is now gone (for now) but luckily Brett "The Rat" Ratner has stepped in to take his place to conclude the stories of Wolverine, Gene Grey, Professor X, Magnet, Storm, Cyclops and many more characters that would continue to never die and re-appear in future prequels and sequels.

  • S2026E16 Total Recall

    • May 14, 2026

Over the next four weeks we're taking a trip through some classic 1990's science fiction films. An interesting era which still encorporated old school film making techniques like model work, stop motion and rear projection plus early computer generated imagery. This week it's the action classic Total Recall starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone from director Paul Verhoeven not to be confused with the 2012 reboot or the book its based on that has a completely different name and premise.

  • S2026E17 Demolition Man

    • May 21, 2026

Stallone, always on the hunt for the next action blockbuster, took a shot at sci-fi in 1993 with the release of Demolition Man. Set in the future of 1996 and then the future of 2032 it pits him against Wesley Snipes' Simon Phoenix having the absolute time of his life. And that's the whole movie real, just an absolute blast from the get go with somewhat accurate depictions of the future mixed in with absolute insanity like the three sea shells situation. Thanks for coming along with us on our 1990s sci-fi retrospective and watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E18 Starship Troopers!

    • May 28, 2026

It's absolutely bizarre that the first live action adaptation of Starship Troopers from director Paul Verhoeven bombed as badly as it did. Not only that but critics also seemed to have completely missed the not very subtle social commetary in relation to the rise of facism in western society. Now, for the most part I hope, people seem to know better and this movie is recognised for both its satirical nature and incredible action sequences. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review

  • S2026E20 Smallville's Supergirl

    • June 11, 2026

Its time to return to Earth-167! Which you would obviously know as the universe of Smallville, the smash hit ten season long Superman original series that managed to introduce EVERY. SINGLE. DC. CHARACTER. before Clark Kent decides to put on the suit. This time we're going to be covering the storyline of Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl as played by Laura Vandervoort introduced in Season 7. And we've discovered so much more about this show including how many character get clones or are clones (it's a lot which is exciting).
