    It's the start of spring and Cardigan Bay gears up for a busy holiday season. In the coastal village of New Quay the bay's population of bottle-nosed dolphins are stirring up a war between three rival boat trip businesses. In Borth, exotic animal lovers Alan and Jean Mumbray plan to expand the zoo in their back garden by getting the county's first lions. But will their new £50,000 lion enclosure meet the council's strict safety requirements? And local independent councillor Gethin James ruffles local feathers by switching to UKIP and standing in the general election.

    It's Easter and the first busy holiday weekend for the tourist businesses of Cardigan Bay. At Borth Zoo, owner Alan is wowing the crowds with his snake show. However to really pull in the punters the zoo needs their new lions to arrive from Bristol in time for summer, but their enclosure is still empty. It's a nervous time for Ceredigion's toilet queen Jasmine Wilson as she enters the county's public amenities in the 2015 UK Loo of the Year Awards. Will her team of cleaners be able to hold onto their crown for having the nation's best-kept toilets? And it's D-Day for local councillor turned UKIP candidate Gethin James as the country goes to the polls in the general election. But someone has been sabotaging Gethin's roadside banners, much to the disgust of his wife Jess.

    It's the start of the school summer holidays and as tourists flood into Cardigan Bay, it's a momentous time for Alan and Jean and their staff at Borth Zoo. After a two-year battle they finally have their lion licence, and under tight security, African lions Zulu and Wilma are on the move from their old zoo in Bristol to the sleepy Welsh seaside town of Borth. In Cardigan, Des Perenara, aka Elvis Desley, has jumpsuit problems. Having made his first suit out of cheap material, he just can't get down into the classic Elvis poses. Can his friend and seamstress Sarah come to the rescue by making Des a new stretchy jumpsuit? And can Des pull off the performance of his life when he competes at the world-famous Porthcawl Elvis Festival? And it's a historic day for Cardigan town's 900-year-old castle as it opens to the public after a four-year renovation. But for castle historian and fanatic Glen, a lost ring could ruin the big day.

    In the final episode of the series, the end of summer approaches. After being dogged by a wet and windy season, the three rival dolphin-spotting businesses of New Quay can't afford to lose another day. Finally the weather breaks, but now the pressure mounts to win business and spot the dolphins. Can drama student and ice cream seller Natalia give a boost to the fortunes of Aberystwyth's struggling 150-year-old pier with her charity fundraising party? And having lost out in the general election, councillor turned UKIP candidate Gethin James is racing to achieve his next ambition to build a cafe on family land overlooking the bay. But will he get his cafe built in time for the summer holiday trade?
