When Cartoon Network/WB debuted "Teen Titans", it was one of the first shows to feature kid superheroes as serious and complex individuals with relatable teen issues. Even though the series was eventually canceled, it struck a chord with an enormous fan-base and after years of demand, a follow-up series was created: Teen Titans Go. However, the new series focused more on the wacky slapstick angle of its predecessor, leaving some fans wanting more of the original's seriousness and dark storytelling.
