    Sir Tom Jones and Rob Brydon join forces for a spectacular night of music and comedy in aid of BBC Children in Need. With special guest appearances by David Walliams, Jessica Hynes and Steve Coogan, who stars alongside Rob Brydon in a one-off Tom Jones-themed mini-episode of The Trip. This unique concert, recorded at Wembley Arena, celebrates Sir Tom's remarkable career with performances of some of his greatest hits and collaborations with artists including James Morrison, Laura Mvula, Dame Evelyn Glennie, the Shires and Chickenshed, as well as comedy sketches and iconic archive footage depicting many of the highlights of Sir Tom's remarkable life so far.

    A very special concert staged at the Royal Albert Hall to honour legendary broadcaster and the inspirational figurehead of BBC Children in Need, Sir Terry Wogan. Music that Sir Terry loved or had a connection with is at the heart of this celebration and is performed by artists including Take That, Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs, Gregory Porter, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Rick Astley, Beverley Knight, Alexander Armstrong, The Vamps, Ward Thomas and Shaun Escoffery. The concert, hosted by Fearne Cotton and Greg James, also includes Children in Need appeal films and archive depicting Sir Terry's incredible broadcasting career, including a chance to relive one of the classic Radio 2 Janet and John stories accompanied by special illustrations created by Tony Ross. The BBC Concert Orchestra, the Crouch End Festival Chorus and the Brighouse and Rastrick Band are on hand to accompany performances.

    Documentary presenting powerful testimonies from children who have experienced the death of a parent, as well as some who are preparing for this possibility. Every day in the UK over a hundred children face the death of their mum or dad. This film for BBC Children in Need features a group of seven- to seventeen-year-olds who have been bereaved, and a few who are facing the death of a parent. In their own words, these brave children share their heart-wrenching experiences and memories, with the aim of helping other young people who are facing a similar situation. Many of the contributors in the film have received counselling, and some of the children and young people have been helped by projects around the UK supported by BBC Children in Need.

    The Queen of Mean Anne Robinson returns for a special celebrity edition of the Weakest Link for Children in Need. Seven brave celebrities, including actor John Thomson, Love Island winner Kem Cetinay, chef Rosemary Shrager, actress Chizzy Akudolu, columnist Giles Coren and presenters Rylan Clark-Neal and Maya Jama, face the wrath of Anne as they work as a team and attempt to answer a series of general knowledge questions to win up to £15,000 for the charity. However, only one can win - six will leave with nothing as round by round their teammates vote them the weakest link.

    Jackie Bird presents a special round-up of all the best bits from Friday night's Children in Need extravaganza plus an extended look at how the charity supports young people in Scotland. Through a series of short films we meet some of the children whose lives have been changed by Children in Need's diverse range of projects all across Scotland. There's also another chance to see the performance from this year's Scottish Children in Need Choir, led by Choir Master Andrew Panton and made up of 125 young people aged between 8 and 15 from schools across Ayrshire performing a special version of Over the Rainbow and an exclusive rousing performance of Johnny Nash's I Can See Clearly Now. Jackie also looks back at the moment One Show presenter Matt Baker and his Rickshaw Challenge team - including Scottish riders Greg, 18, and 17-year-old Shona - arrived at BBC Scotland on Friday night at the end of their epic 500-mile 'Ride to the Clyde' from London. Stars from River City and Scot Squad also get in on the act with an exclusive mash-up sketch filmed especially for Children in Need.

    In the summer of 2019, ten of Britain’s most critically acclaimed actors came together to take on their toughest role ever: to record an album for BBC Children In Need. This 90-minute film charts the making of the album, Got It Covered. Its stellar cast includes Helena Bonham Carter, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman, Shaun Dooley, Luke Evans, Suranne Jones , Adrian Lester, Himesh Patel, David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker. With just 12 weeks to record the album, each actor must choose a song that has special meaning for them and must make their cover version their own.

    Comic Relief and Children in Need join forces for the first time to deliver a very special night of television during these unprecedented times. The Big Night In brings the nation an evening of unforgettable entertainment in a way we've never seen before. More importantly, it will also raise money for and pay tribute to those on the front line fighting Covid-19 and all the unsung heroes going that extra mile to support their communities. Together (but safely distanced), Comic Relief legend Lenny Henry and Children in Need's Matt Baker will join forces with Zoe Ball and Paddy McGuinness to host a night of comedy, music and live entertainment from the studio, linking up with a multitude of stars from their houses for an unmissable night. Expect huge treats from comedy legends Peter Kay and Catherine Tate and music from the one and only Gary Barlow. If you have not yet had a dance around your house, then now is the time to do so with the stars of Strictly Come Dancing leading the way. And we'll be showing some of the greatest comedy sketches of all time, voted by you, the great British public. And if that wasn’t enough, viewers will be have the chance to win some incredible money-can't-buy prizes across the course of the evening. The show will give viewers the opportunity to donate, for those who feel able to do so, to help support vulnerable people of all ages and backgrounds across the UK who will be significantly impacted by the crisis.

The programme also celebrates the history of this much-loved BBC Children in Need staple, while at the same time raising life-changing money for the charity as part of its 2021 Appeal.

    Dr Alex George follows the journeys of young people across the UK who are living with mental health issues. He explores the wide range of difficulties they face and finds out how local charities, including projects funded by Children in Need, are making a difference. As an A&E doctor and the UK Youth Mental Health Ambassador, Alex has seen at first hand the effects of the pandemic on young people's mental wellbeing, but he never thought they would affect his own family. But in July 2020, Alex's 19-year-old brother Llyr, who had been struggling with anxiety during lockdown, took his own life. This poignant film is his response.
