つばき荘での生活にも慣れてきた新しい管理人の千歳。だが、はるまに対してはまだなんとなくもじもじとしている様子。 千歳は好意を抱いているはるまに、肉じゃがを作って渡そうとするのだが、何と言って渡したら良いのかあれこれ試行錯誤する。 そして、翌日。世間はバレンタインデー。 千歳は買い物の途中に、はるまに渡すためにチョコを買おうとするのだが、そこに同じく買い物途中のちょこが現れる。
