It is the largest folk festival in the world: the Munich Oktoberfest. A gigantic pop-up fair complete with beer halls, roller coasters and booths on an area the size of 50 football fields. During the two-week festival, more than six million visitors flock to the 38 marquees, 170 rides, booths and shops. Something for everyone.
Ten weeks are needed for project Octoberfest on a dedicated fairground near the Olympia Stadium There must be no delays during assembly. Everything must be in place on opening day. We'll be there when a new team sets up the largest festival tent, the Hofbräu tent, for the first time.
