While Daryl and Danny head deep into Spindle Canyon, a treacherous rock-strewn gorge – and another promising location of the gold, steeped in supernatural energy. In a journey that divides their resources and opinions, Adam and Evan take to the perilous glacier country, while Daryl and the others pay a visit to San Francisco’s archives. The team’s camaraderie begins to sour as the more stubborn personalities clash with the rational thinkers of the group, and gold fever begins to take hold as they struggle to solve the mystery but remain divided over the location of Slumach’s gold.
