The Wedding

Auf der Southfork-Ranch laufen die Vorbereitungen für J.R.’s Hochzeit mit Sue Ellen. Über die ungehemmte Ölförderung des Bräutigams herrscht weiterhin Rätselraten. Bobby sieht die gesamte Firma wegen J.R.’s Gebaren am Abgrund und stellt ihn zur Rede.

It's December 3, and J.R. and Sue Ellen remarry, but the cartel members stay away. Mickey and Lucy meet, but Ray warns Mickey to stay away from her. Jordan Lee pressures Bobby to stop J.R.'s uncontrolled pumping. J.R. makes an unsuspecting Holly sell some of her assets to his dummy corporation named Petro State. Punk Anderson, as administrator of Jock's estate, warns J.R. to play by the rules or he'll stop him. Miss Ellie tells Clayton he reminds her of Jock. Bobby accuses J.R. of using Jock's will to destroy Ewing Oil. Afton fears Cliff is still in love with Sue Ellen. Donna agrees to serve on the Texas Energy Commission and gets Miss Ellie's blessing to do so, even if it means she will be the one to stop J.R.

Alors que commencent les préparatifs du mariage de J.R. et de Sue Ellen, Clayton Farlow arrive à Southfork. Il parvient, non sans mal, à se montrer aimable avec le futur marié. J.R. persuade Bobby d'être son garçon d'honneur. A cette occasion, Lucy fait la connaissance de Mickey, le neveu de Ray. Celui-ci tente de flirter avec la jeune femme, mais elle repousse ses avances. Après la répétition de la cérémonie du mariage, Ellie invite Clayton Farlow à demeurer quelques jours à Southfork, proposition que ce dernier accepte avec plaisir. J.R. étant venu la voir chez elle, la belle Holly Harwood essaie à nouveau de le séduire. J.R. et Sue Ellen se remarient. Au moment où le prêtre demande si quelqu'un s'oppose au mariage, Cliff se lève.
