The Last Wave

John und Kim untersuchen den mysteriösen Selbstmord ihres Klassenkameraden Dewey. Sie kommen nach Los Angeles, um ihre alten Freunde Nat Heller und Gina Abbott zu sehen. Dort erfahren sie, daß jemand Deweys Leiche konfisziert hat. Darüber gibt es auch ein Video, das von einem Studenten der Filmhochschule heimlich aufgenommen wurde. Following the suspicious suicide of college classmate Robert Dewey, John and Kim arrive in Los Angeles to see their old friends Nat Heller and Gina Abbott. Learning that Dewey's corpse was mysteriously confiscated by someone claiming to be with the coroner's office, Kim heads to the funeral home to investigate. Upon discovering a cameraman lurking in the bushes, she meets film student Jim Morrison, who has documented the removal of Dewey's body. And though John is suspicious, Kim befriends Morrison to find out just what he knows.

Après le suicide douteux de Robert Dewey, un camarade de faculté, John et Kim arrivent à Los Angeles pour voir leurs amis Nat Heller et Gina Abbott. Kim va au funérarium pour enquêter. Elle y rencontre un étudiant caméraman, un certain Jim Morrison...

Dewey, un vecchio amico di Loengard e Sayers, si toglie la vita ingerendo dell'insetticida. Durante il funerale, i due scoprono che alcuni misteriosi individui hanno trafugato il cadavere del loro amico. Kim incontra Jim Morrison che le rivela di aver filmato la sottrazione del cadavere.
