Legendy zachytí novou časovou anomálii v roce 1970, kdy se Apollo 13 vydává na misi do vesmíru. Nate se po delší době opět setkává se svým dědečkem komandérem Steelem, který ukryl poslední úlomek Kopí osudu. Rip a ani Sara nevědí, kdo nyní má velet týmu Legend.

Die Spuren zum letzten Fragment des „Speers des Schicksals“ führen das Team zu Kommandant Steel ins NASA Hauptquartier im Jahr 1970. Das Team wird auf die Mission der Apollo 13 aufmerksam und glaubt, dass die Legion von Doom möglicherweise darin involviert sein könnte. When the Legends track Commander Steel to NASA Headquarters in 1970, they learn where Nate’s grandfather hid the last fragment of the Spear of Destiny. The team notices a time aberration during the Apollo 13 mission and believes that the Legion of Doom might be involved. As the Legends journey into space to intercept Apollo 13, the Waverider suffers massive internal damage and Ray’s life is left in jeopardy when he is stranded on the moon. Meanwhile, tension grows between Rip and Sara as to who is the leader of the team.

Quand les Legends pistent le Commandant Steel dans le quartier général de la NASA en 1970, ils apprennent où le grand-père de Nate a caché le dernier fragment de la Lance du Destin. L’équipe remarque une aberration temporelle pendant la mission Apollo 13 et pense que la Legion of Doom est impliquée. Tandis que les Legends se rendent dans l’espace pour intercepter Apollo 13, le Waverider souffre d’importants dommages et la vie de Ray est menacée quand il se retrouve bloqué sur la Lune. Pendant ce temps, la tension entre Rip et Sara monte d’un cran pour savoir qui sera le chef de l’équipe.

Rip Hunter accompagna Henry Heywood nella New York del 1965 affinche' lui si trovi una nuova identita' e perche' protegga la Lancia del Destino a ogni costo. Le Leggende si mettono sulle sue tracce e, conoscendo i suoi trascorsi di pilota di caccia, deducono che abbia trovato un impiego all'altezza delle sua competenze. Lo trovano infatti che ricopre un ruolo di prestigio presso la NASA. La squadra comandata da Sara Lance si infiltra a Houston e informa Heywood che la Legione del Destino da' la caccia ai frammenti della Lancia, compreso quello in suo possesso, che pero' Heywood ha nascosto in luogo piu' che sicuro: nientemeno che all'interno dell'asta che sorregge la bandiera statunitense piantata da Neil Armstrong sulla Luna! Siamo nell'Aprile del 1970 e l'Apollo 13 e' in oribita attorno alla luna. Un serbatoio di ossigeno a bordo della navicella sta per esplodere a causa di un guasto, incidente che impedira' l'allunaggio dell'equipaggio.

Cuando las Leyendas siguen la pista del Comandante Steel hasta el cuartel general de la NASA en 1970, descubren dónde escondió el abuelo de Nate el último fragmento de la Lanza del Destino. El equipo se percata de una aberración durante la misión del Apolo 13 y creen que la Legión del Mal podría estar implicada. Durante el viaje de las Leyendas hacia el espacio para interceptar al Apolo 13, la Waverider sufre daños importantes y la vida de Ray se pone en riesgo cuando se queda varado en la Luna. Mientras tanto, la tensión crece entre Rip y Sara sobre quién es el líder del equipo.
