Dead Men Die Twice

LOCATION: Southern France DATE: July 19th A man's home is invaded by armed intruders intent on killing him. He has a heart attack and dies before they can, however. The two men go to the morgue to see the body, where they put two bullets into the corpse. Department S investigate the shooting of the body of a man who bears a striking resemblance to a notorious criminal who allegedly died three years earlier.

Lors d'un festival, un photographe prend un cliché de la foule sur lequel on reconnaît un criminel sensé être mort.

SUR DE FRANCIA: 19 DE JULIO. En el festival de un pequeño pueblo, un fotógrafo ve una cara inesperada en la multitud y le toma una foto. Luego se la vende al gánster Sy Harlan, quien envía un par de asesinos para matar al hombre de la foto. Pero la víctima sufre un ataque al corazón antes de que le puedan disparar... así que los sicarios acuden a la morgue para balear al cadáver.
