Pianiste de renommée internationale, Daniel Major est frappé de stupeur en plein concert et s’effondre sur scène. Depuis l’incident, il demeure incapable de jouer. Daniel décide de fuir le tumulte pour trouver refuge à la maison de campagne familiale. Complètement bouleversé, il recommence à vivre des terreurs nocturnes qui lui font craindre pour sa sécurité et pour celle de ses proches. Il entreprend alors une thérapie qui l’amène à fouiller son passé et découvre de sombres secrets. Sa quête de vérité, parsemée d’embûches et de dangers, le mènera à des révélations des plus troublantes.
