  • S01E01 The Camerons

    The Cameron family of Brownstown, MI is stunned as their 3000 square foot home is struck by lightning during a horrific thunderstorm, and goes up in flames. The home is virtually destroyed, devastating Dan and Karen who spent their entire lives saving to buy this dream home. They and their four children had just moved in and making matters worse is the fact that Dan, who works for an airline, is about to be transferred to Chicago, which means he will not be home to deal with this crisis. In these tough economic times, he cannot afford to quit his job or take time off, so he is at a total loss about how to help his family and restore his home. Luckily, Steve steps in and promises the family that he will restore their house and have them home in a week. Can he get it done?

    Jason and Felicia Dillie from Greensburg, PA are devastated as their first home is literally torn in half by the infamous Greensburg Tornado, one of the most violent tornadoes of the horrific 2011 tornado season. The Dillies had looked for a home for months, had saved every penny for the last four years, and were hoping to start a family once they were in their beautiful new home. After only owning the home for six weeks, and doing countless renovations themselves, their dream of finally moving in was crushed. With limited homeowners insurance, and already thousands of dollars in debt, this couple is desperate for help.

  • S01E03 The Labontes

    The Labontes' beautiful and historic 100-year-old Victorian house burned as a result of an electrical fire. Luckily, mom, Annette, and their four children escaped the fire, but the entire third floor was destroyed and the rest of the house suffered extreme water damage. Dad, Luke, is a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard and was scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan just days after the fire. Totally devastated, and with almost no time to deal with his insurance company, make arrangements to rebuild, and find a temporary home for his family, Luke is overwhelmed. But Steve comes to the rescue and promises Luke he will rebuild their house and get his family back in their home in record time. But the challenges are huge: first, Steve is told by the town that the exterior of the house must be rebuilt to match its original look and architecture. Can Steve find skilled craftsmen to do this specific detail work in time? If not, the house won't pass inspection and they will have to start over. Finding enough manpower in this small town to get the job done proves almost impossible, and to make matters worse, Steve has to fire workers who can't handle the job.

  • S01E04 The Lombardis

    Tina Lombardi was cooking dinner for her family when she walked away just for a minute to help her son with a school project. In an instant, a grease fire was burning their kitchen. Tina thought the fire was small and was told by the fire department that it had been extinguished, but later that night, the fire rekindled, burning the entire house to the ground. The Lombardi's two young sons are absolutely terrified to return to the house, and even more devastating, they lost their beloved pet goldfish, Patrick. Tina feels tremendous guilt and responsibility for the fire. Steve is determined to help this family heal, and rebuild this tiny cape into a brighter, more welcoming home that the boys will be excited and happy to return to. But just when Steve thinks this might be an easy rebuild, he encounters three huge problems: asbestos, termites, and carpenter ants!

  • S01E05 The Morris Family

    The Morris's Tennesse home is destroyed by a powerful F-4 Tornado. Steve arrives on the scene and promises their two daughters he would rebuild their home from the foundation up in record time. But it isn't long before the plan goes awry! Roy is stymied by the building department and Kevin's plans are deemed too complicated to expedite a timely construction permit. The crew stands down while the budget spirals out of control. When work finally begins, the weather takes a turn for the worse as record-breaking heat threatens to shut down the job site and burn down the house! It takes a series of miracles, a team of scrappy volunteers and a whole lot of luck to bring the Morris's home.

    An F-3 tornado lays waste to the Roncarati family home in rural Massachusetts. Disaster Guy Steve Frasher promises to rebuild beyond their wildest expectations. With a limited budget, tight schedule and over 3,500 square feet of living space to build from scratch, bad weather promises to make life tough for the whole gang. Roy, Steve's project manager struggles with a chaotic job site and Kevin, the designer is bedeviled by a botched set of construction drawings.

  • S01E07 The Harris Family

    Another deadly twister ravishes a small community and inflicts heavy damage on The Harris family's heirloom house. Though the couple and their three kids would rather preserve the legacy and save the house, Steve is forced to make a tough call to demolish the house. The tiny budget leaves little for design so Kevin is forced to think outside the box. Meanwhile Roy has to solicit free construction materials to get the job done on with limited funds they have.
