James, Brother of Jesus

It is arguably the most important archaeological discovery ever made – an ossuary, or “bone box”, with an inscription on it’s side that reads: “James, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus”. If authentic, it is the first time that Jesus’ name appears on a 2,000 year-old artifact literally carved in stone. But is it authentic? “James, Brother of Jesus” tracks three stories: Is the inscription forged? Where was it found and how did it surface? Who was James, and how did he come to be called “brother of the Lord”?
