Christine is a busy single mom with three children. When she moved them into a 1940’s home, she knew it would need some updating and that the kitchen would need to be the first big project. One night, sparked with enthusiasm about remodeling the house, Christine decided to tear down the walls that separate the kitchen, dining room and foyer. Originally thinking it would lead her bravely into the renovation and make clear what path the space should take, it only led her NOWHERE. Christine needs this DIY project-gone-wrong to be brought into the 21st century and for her downstairs to be an inviting place for family where she can cook and entertain comfortably. As if drywall that looks like Swiss cheese isn’t embarrassing enough for her three kids, she promised her son, Frankie who is the student counsel president, that she would host his pre-prom party there.
