Elsewhere, Nicola is left bitterly disappointed by Simon when he refuses to go to dinner with her. Feeling rejected, a paranoid Nicola gives Betty a tongue-lashing when she overhears her gossiping, assuming it's about her. Meanwhile, Dawn unwittingly upsets Bob when she ropes Scott into giving her driving lessons.
