While the Appleby is calling at a port in the Soviet Union, the crewmen think that O'Toole is faking a case of combat fatigue when he claims to have seen a beautiful girl peering at him through one of the Appleby′s portholes, but then they find that she is a stowaway named Anna. Smitten with her, they decide to make a party dress for her out of flags, tablecloths, and whatever else they can find aboard the ship.
