Three individuals struggle against planning regulations. While a 76-year-old woman witnesses her extension being ripped down, a man who decided to live in a house he'd made of straw bales wins his epic four-year campaign. The locals objecting to some lion gateposts, meanwhile, don't bother waiting for the planners, taking matters into their own hands, along with a large hammer.
