Allied forces fight their way across Sicily, chasing the Germans across the Strait of Messina. After landing in Salerno and fighting their way up the boot, the Allies approach the Gustav Line.
After fighting on the Gustav Line and Monte Cassino, the allied forces land in Anzio, but fail to move out quickly enough. Both sides are now dug in as the Allies hope to breakout and make for Rome.
Allied forces break German lines in Anzio and take Rome triumphantly. As the war comes to an end, two soldiers arrive at the Italian front and face daunting fights.
