    A feast for the senses - spring colour mini makeover, garden perfume,a new generation of natives and the ‘start from scratch’ veggie patch. The Garden Angels believe a garden should be a feast for the senses. With spring fast approaching they get straight down to business with practical ideas on what to plant – when, where and how, to get gardens full of colour for the season. From Jody’s colour explosions to garden perfumes where Melissa unveils insider tips that can be achieved instantly to create garden scents that are good enough to bottle! She also introduces a new generation of native plants. Linda shows off their “Angel Patch” which will be bursting with fresh organic veggies. Each week they’ll provide a simple step-by-step guide to creating a veggie garden from scratch, making it possible for anyone to achieve - whatever their garden space.

    Demystifying natives, Melissa’s big tomatoes, getting down and dirty with mulch, the latest and greatest outdoor furniture and growing the world’s best Camellias. Melissa and Linda continue their complete guide to natives, uncovering an abundance of varieties and tips on how best to grow them anywhere in Australia. Jody gets down and dirty with mulch, taking away the mystery of what it does and what to use for different types of gardens. She also offers up some advice for maintaining outdoor furniture and shows us some of the latest cutting edge styles. Melissa unveils the secrets of growing the world’s best Camellias for all situations and her favourite tomato varieties make it into the veggie patch!

    A complete guide to citrus, hedging plants for privacy, pest prevention and what to do with fertiliser. It’s the ideal time for citrus and Melissa reveals the top five tips for growing and looking after them, while Jody suggests which varieties can be potted on the balcony ready for those summer cocktails. Jody also offers some clever tips for creating privacy and boundaries in the garden with hedging plants. Melissa takes us step by step through the world of fertiliser and Linda tackles pest prevention, essential for keeping your garden looking tip top.

    Summer is approaching and when the weather heats up, its time to prepare the garden for the hot summer months ahead. Jody looks at the eco-friendly alternatives to installing water pumps, such as water bowls and ponds. The Angels also give some tips on hardy plants that are tolerant to dry Aussie environments. Back at the Angels HQ veggie patch, it is harvest time and Linda will show you how to harvest your vegetables.

    What can you do with a problematic side passage? There are many options such as paving, creating a beautiful upright garden and placing outdoor ornamental pieces for decoration. The Angels will show you the way! Get your kids in the garden by choosing fruit and vegetable varieties that can be picked straight from the bush or vine - a great incentive to reconnect your kids with the food they're eating.

    By now the annuals have finished flowering and Jody shows you different species of plants you can plant that are more permanent and low maintenance. She also demonstrates the easiest way to install drip irrigation to help you save time and money by using less water. Linda heads to a school to learn how to make a worm farm. Create your own compost and produce free organic fertilizer for your garden. Meanwhile Melissa re-introduces heirloom vegetables that are now back in fashion and show you why they taste so good.
