Hannah explained to Monica that A.J. had been on a downward spiral for a long time. Monica blamed herself, citing her neglect as a reason for A.J.'s continued alcoholism. Felicia assured Mac that seeing Luke hadn't changed her desire to get back together with him. Felicia asked Mac to give her a chance to prove how much she loved him. Mac kissed Felicia and told her that he loved her, but they needed more time. Juan hoped that hearing Heart and Soul would give Emily hope.
