Four social workers who are too busy looking after other people to spend time on themselves get the Gok treatment. But they don't know they'll be unveiling their glamorous new style to thousands of Liverpudlians on the catwalk. But that's not Gok's only challenge. His nemesis, designer diva Brix Smith-Start, is also in town to take part in the high street versus high-end catwalk face-off. For the first time, Gok is inviting members of the public backstage to share his tricks of the trade, as he proves you don't need to spend a fortune to look fabulous. Meanwhile, Brix travels the UK to source the very best British-made designer items. This week, she travels to South Shields to see how the classic Barbour jacket is made.

The high street versus high-end catwalk showdown continues as Gok and designer queen Brix Smith-Start go head to head in the fashion face-off. While Gok shows the Harrogate public you don't need to spend a fortune to look fabulous, Brix and her pedigree chums head off in search of the perfect catwalk statement piece. Brix's search takes her to Oxford, home of the oldest traditional British hatters, Christys'.

A week-long undercover operation involving Gok's hair, make-up and styling team results in three arresting transformations, with the evidence revealed in a catwalk extravaganza for family and friends. While Gok prepares his High Street looks by sharing his styling tricks in front of members of the public, Brix heads to the East End of London to see how the luxury brand Gina hand make their iconic shoes.
