  • S01E03 Ireland - Guinness

At one time when Irish people drank more whisky, Arthur Guinness started brewing a beer that was quite different. It contained roasted barley, giving it an uncharacteristically dark colour. Today its one of the worlds favourite beer, and its not really a beer at all its a Stout!

  • S01E06 Scotland - Caledonia

    In Glasgow, Scotland, its customary to pop around the the corner pub for a "swift-hall" and a taste of the local hospitality. More often than not, the brew on tap is the famous 'Tennent's Lager which has been brewed at the Wellpark Brewery since 1885. However, brewing has been ongoing on the site since 1556 making this brewery the oldest commercial concern in the city. Using finest Scottish malts, Tennents has a truly distinctive and unique flavour.
