A Gift to Remember

Darcy Archer works in a small bookstore in Manhattan. A daydreamer, she refuses to settle for anything less than being swept off her feet by the perfect man… literally. One day, when cycling to work, Darcy accidentally crashes into a sharply dressed gentleman walking his dog. He is knocked out cold, rushed to hospital and falls into a coma. And his dog gets left behind. Wracked with guilt, Darcy takes the dog and plans to reunite him with his owner, Aidan. As she discovers the mysterious stranger's world of books, travel, adventure and all the wonderful things she's ever dreamed about, Darcy builds a picture of this man and wonders if he could be THE ONE… But when Aiden wakes up, we learn that he had been dog-sitting for his boss when he had the accident, and the picture she had of him is completely wrong, but as they spend time together, they learn that they are actually perfect for one another. Darcy travaille à la librairie Chaucer à Philadelphie, et les livres sont toute sa vie. Quelques jours avant Noël, elle renverse par hasard avec son vélo un bel inconnu qui promenait son chien.
