Als sich seine düsteren Prophezeiungen bewahrheiten, setzt Göttervater Odin all seine Hoffnungen in Hercules. Doch der muss tatenlos zusehen, wie Odin durch eine List Lokis sein Augenlicht verliert und kurz darauf stirbt. Auch seine Frau Frigga lässt ihr Leben.
Odin believed the answer to the riddle ""When light dies, then will Ragnarok begin"" would bring about the end of all things. Loki went to Odin in disguise and gave him a metal mask. When the king of Norse gods looked into the mask, he was blinded -- which fulfilled the third tragedy. Loki then blew Gilma's Horn, which brought on Ragnarok, and he killed Thor witha poisoned dart. When Hercules poured paint into the Book of Fate, he returned to the moment before he accidently killed Balder. He exposed Loki's plan to Balder and thor, saving their lives.

Odín creía que la respuesta al acertijo ""Cuando la luz muera, entonces comenzará el Ragnarok"" provocaría el fin de todas las cosas. Loki fue a ver a Odín disfrazado y le dio una máscara de metal. Amikor a skandináv istenek királya belenézett a maszkba, megvakult – ami beteljesítette a harmadik tragédiát. Loki ezután megfújta Gilma kürtjét, ami elhozta a Ragnarököt, és megölte Thort egy mérgezett nyíllal.
