A big explosion at a local refinery, means two Hero Squad casualties are trapped in a building. With the clock ticking and two casualties to save, will the cadets be able to work as a fire team to contain the fire?
The six Hero Squad cadets head to London and quickly find out that if a casualty is injured the quickest way to help them is to take to the skies. Working with London's Air Ambulance, the cadets are called out to a serious head injury, will our cadets get to the casualty on time?
The Cadets are in Ogwen Valley, Snowdonia and are based with the UK's busiest mountain rescue team. When two climbers fall, on a dangerous ledge, the cadets are called out to help. Will they be able to navigate the steep mountains and get the climbers back to safety? Which cadets will impress with their head for heights and be awarded Hero of the Day?
Working alongside West Midlands Fire and Rescue, the Hero Squad cadets are challenged with water rescue. Can they save two young people from a freezing cold lake? Can they work as a team, to remember their swimming and boat handling skills to pull off this dangerous and daring rescue?
The cadets travel to Campbeltown, in the highlands of Scotland. Working with the RNLI, they soon found out that weather conditions can be tough and the best boat for the choppy seas is the All Weather lifeboat. But, when a walker is stranded by the tide on a tiny island, will the Hero Squad cadets be able to get her safety?
The cadets meet in Cornwall and are split up into three groups of two. Playing to the strengths they have demonstrated in previous rescues, the cadets are sent to the Royal Navy, at RNAS Culdrose, HM Coastguard and RNLI Lizard. These agencies regularly perform the most dangerous rescues on the UK shores. Can our cadets cut it one last time, with the Ultimate Rescue?
The cadets have reached the end of the Hero Squad training. They have transformed themselves from rookies to real-life, life savers. It's now time to put all of the skills they've learnt so far to the ultimate test, in their final challenge - the ultimate rescue. Working with the Royal Navy, HM Coastguard and the RNLI, can they rescue two seriously injured surfers from the sea? Will all three agencies join together and get the casualties to hospital - before it's too late? Is this the end of their journey, or just the beginning for our six real life heroes?
