Endou Mamoru ist der Kapitän eines Fußballclubs, der kurz davor ist, aufgelöst zu werden. An seiner Schule lässt sich einfach keiner für Fußball begeistern und so bekommt der Club nicht einmal eine ganze Mannschaft zusammen, um gegen die übermächtige Teikoku Schule antreten zu können. Dans cet animé, nous suivrons les péripéties de l’équipe de foot du collège Raimon, considérée comme une faible équipe ne disposant même pas de onze joueurs pour pouvoir jouer des matchs. Emmenés par leur capitaine Endô, le gardien de but, ils se voient offrir l’opportunité d’affronter l’école de Teikoku, la meilleure équipe du pays, vainqueur du renommé tournoi Football Frontier quarante années de suite. Comment s’en sortiront nos héros face à cette puissante équipe ? Et qui est ce mystérieux Gôenji à la frappe surpuissante nouvellement arrivé au collège Raimon… La suite des aventures de nos héros nous en apprendra davantage.

Il protagonista, Mark Evans, frequenta la scuola media Raimon Junior High (la parola Raimon significa "cancello del fulmine" ed è scritta 雷門), dove vorrebbe fondare un club di calcio. All'inizio i membri sono solo sette (Jack Wallside, Tod Ironside, Kevin Dragonfly, Timmy Saunders, Sam Kincad, Steve Grim e lo stesso Mark, che è il portiere e anche il capitano della squadra) ma Mark non si arrende e riesce a creare una squadra composta da tutti gli 11 calciatori: si aggiungono Nathan Swift, Jim Wraith, Max(Maxwell Carson) e Willy(William Glass). Tuttavia Nelly Raimon, la figlia del preside, odia la squadra e quindi organizza un'amichevole contro la temibile Royal Academy in cui gioca Jude Sharp, dicendo che se non avessero vinto, lei avrebbe disfatto la squadra ma se al contrario fossero risultati i vincitori, li avrebbe fatti gareggiare nel Football Frontier, il torneo calcistico giovanile più importante del Giappone. Il Football Frontier è diviso in due parti: le qualificazioni regionali e le fasi finali, in cui gareggiano le più forti squadre del Paese. All'inizio la Raimon non è molto forte, ma durante l'amichevole con la Royal Academy Axel Blaze (soprannominato "il bomber di fuoco"), si unisce alla Raimon per cercare di evitare la disastrosa sconfitta, ed infatti segna appena entra in campo. A quel punto i giocatori della Royal Academy abbandona la partita perché hanno individuato in Axel un futuro giocatore della loro squadra e appena l'hanno visto giocare non è servita loro un'altra dimostrazione. Dopo alcune peripezie, Mark riesce a convincere Axel ad unirsi alla Raimon poco prima dell'inizio del Football Frontier, che prevede qualificazioni regionali e poi un torneo nazionale. La prima partita delle regionali è contro la Occult Junior High. All'inizio la Occult sembra avere la meglio grazie ad una tecnica chiamata Blocco Invisibile, ma Axel capisce come superarla e porta la sua squadra alla vittoria. 弱小チームの雷門中サッカー部。7人しかいない部員は練習をせずサボリ気味だったが、キャプテンの円堂守は中学サッカーの全国大会「フットボールフロンティア」への出場を諦めずに練習を続けていた。そこに伝説のエースストライカー・豪炎寺修也が雷門中に転校してくる。羨望の目でサッカー部に勧誘する円堂に、豪炎寺は「もうサッカーはやめた」と言い放つ。そして時を同じくして、全国大会40年連覇の強豪・帝国学園サッカー部が、雷門中サッカー部に練習試合を申請してくるのだが、この試合に勝てなければサッカー部は廃部となることが決定してしまう。

약소 팀의 카미나리몬 중 축구부. 7 명 밖에없는 부원은 연습을하지 않고 땡땡이 기색 이었지만, 캡틴의 원형 堂守 중학교 축구 전국 대회 '축구 프런티어'에 출전을 포기하지 않고 연습을 계속했다. 거기에 전설의 에이스 스트라이커 豪炎寺修也이 카미나리몬에서 전학 온다. 선망의 눈으로 축구부에 초대하는 원당에 豪炎寺은 "이제 축구는 그만 두었다"고 단언한다. 그리고 때를 같이하여 전국 대회 40 년 연패의 강호 제국 학원 축구부가 카미나리몬 중 축구부 연습 경기를 신청 해 오지만,이 경기에 이길해야 축구부는 폐부가 될 수 결정 해 버린다.

O personagem principal, Mamoru Endou (Mark Evans em Portugal), é um talentoso goleiro e neto de um dos maiores goleiros do Japão, Daisuke Endo, que morreu antes de ele nascer. Mesmo suas habilidades sendo incríveis, sua escola carece de um clube de futebol de verdade, porque os 6 outros membros não parecem muito interessados em sua formação. Mas assim que o atacante misterioso Shuya Gouenji muda para a escola de Endo, o jovem goleiro pretende encontrar e recrutar membros para sua equipa de futebol. Há cerca de 1000 personagens com habilidades diferentes que irão determinar o sucesso da equipa.

El personaje principal, Mark Evans, es un portero muy talentoso y el nieto de uno de los más grandes porteros en Japón, que murió antes de nacer él. A pesar de que sus habilidades son increíbles en su escuela carecen de un club de fútbol, es más, los otros miembros de la escuela no parecen muy interesados en su formación. Pero tan pronto como un delantero misterioso aparece, el equipo se mueve, y Evans, el portero joven va a buscar y reclutar miembros para su equipo de fútbol. 　　雷門初中足球部是一支隊員只有7名的弱小球隊。雖然部員們每天都來到部室但每個人都做著各自的事以消磨時間。他們當中，熱血足球少年，足球隊隊長圓堂守鼓勵他們“為了明天的比賽去練習吧”。之後他們突然收到了豪強帝國學園的挑戰，他們面臨兩個選擇，一是接受挑戰並贏得比賽，一是廢棄足球部。選擇了前者的他們馬上又迎來另一個麻煩——打正式比賽還差4個人。　　之後的某天，圓堂遇見了傳說中擁有必殺射門“火焰旋風”的王牌射手豪炎寺修也，隨後豪炎寺轉校到了雷門初中。圓堂邀請他加入足球部，然而他卻明確表示“不會再踢足球了”。其他成員找齊了，在比賽當天圓堂守他們以大比分落後，在一位隊員退場以後，豪炎寺終於披上了雷門的戰袍登場，並在最後時刻射進一球。最後帝國學園宣佈放棄比賽，因此算是雷門初中獲勝，因此雷門初中足球部得以暫時保留……。

حكاية مجموعة لاعبين من الصغار، مشكلتهم الأساسية أنهم لا يثقون بأنفسهم أو بما يملكون من مهارات، لكنهم يخطون أول خطواتهم نحو الفوز بفضل عامر انه قائد الفريق وحارس مرماه، وهو القائد بحق، فلولا جهوده لما اكتمل ذلك الفريق، ولولا تشجيعه المستمر لما استطاعوا مواجهة الفرق المتحدية. أفراد فريق النسور همهم الأول أن يستمر فريقهم في اللعب، لأن مدير المدرسة أنذرهم أكثر من مرة بقرار حل الفريق ان لم يحققوا نتائج ترضيه، فالميزانية المخصصة للفريق لا تسمح باستمراره ان لم يكن منافسا لبقية الفرق. وهكذا يبدأ عامر ببث روح التنافس وتحريض اللاعبين على العمل من أجل استمرار الفريق وتحقيق الانتصارات

De hoofdpersoon, Mark Evans, is een zeer getalenteerde keeper. Zijn opa was een van de beste keepers van heel Japan, maar hij stierf voordat Mark was geboren, door een ongeluk. Wat later blijkt dat hij vermoord is door de baas van het beste voetbalteam van het land, genaamd Ray Dark. Dit blijkt een slecht persoon te zijn. De school waar Mark op zit Raimon Junior High wat in het begin wel een voetbal team heeft maar niet erg gemotiveerd is om te voetballen. En dus is Mark bezig om het team wel gemotiveerd te krijgen samen met Silvia Woods. Aan het begin van het tweede jaar heeft de club een tekort aan spelers voor het voetbalteam en dreigt opheffing van de club. Er zijn maar zeven leden en geen van hen lijkt geïnteresseerd in trainen te zijn. Uiteindelijk worden er precies genoeg spelers gevonden.
