    Three participants, chosen on the basis of specific shortcomings in terms of improving their social and professional lives move into a house to learn life skills relating to communication, goal setting and conflict resolution. Charles Shabalala is unemployed, well-spoken, drop dead gorgeous and wants to be a movie star. He lives with his mother and struggles to make ends meet. Anthony Almeida is a cabinetmaker who lives with his family and 11 dogs. He has been stuck in the same job for 11 years with no salary increase in that time. Rochelle Davids is an administrative clerk who likes to dance on tables, paint and go skydiving.

Season 2

  • S02E01 Let it Begin

    Three individuals go on a journey of self-discovery to make their dreams come true. Christa van der Merwe is from Hoedspruit in Limpopo and dreams of opening her own lingerie boutique. Philani Gimede comes from Inchanga in KwaZulu Natal and has plans to become a chicken farmer of note. Megan Hardie lives in Elsie's Rivier, Cape Town and wants to be a top-notch hairdresser.

  • S03E01 The Chosen

    Three new participants leave their daily lives to go through a series of frustrating and thrilling challenges to find out more about themselves. Nini Mabe is a confident Tswana woman who grew up on the dusty streets of Mafikeng with a close-knit family of 11 children. Conrad Potgieter is a streetwise survivor who has never had support from his family. Jan Tieties is from the disadvantaged traditional San, born in the Kalahari and has spent all his nomad life there.

Season 4

  • S04E01 The Journey Begins

    Three contrasting young people embark on a road trip across South Africa in a camper-van, which serves as their home. Haajirah Abrahams is a devout Muslim who works in an Islamic boutique in Bonteheuwel close to Close Town. Thabo Mboneni is a young man who is who is passionate about issues related to HIV because he mother died of an AIDS related illness. He live with his grandmother in Queenstown and dreams of becoming a draftsman. Faith Kalipha is from Soweto and has worked in a supermarket for the past two years.
